Megyn Kelly issued a dire warning to her fellow Republicans following the party's major losses on Election Day Tuesday.
After Democrats scored big wins in New Jersey, Virginia and New York City, the former Fox News star fumed on her SiriusXM show that 'Republicans don't know how to win' without Donald Trump.
'The Republican party needs to get its s**t together ASAP,' Kelly said, chiding conservatives for pushing back against a recent Politico report surrounding a leaked Young Republicans' group chat that contained racist messages instead of focusing on the elections
'I'm really glad that the Republicans devoted so much time to that. That was a great move. Terrific move. Way to stick together and to really shine a light on what matters,' she said.
'The Republicans like to lose. They enjoy losing. They enjoy when they are embattled and in a losing position and complaining. They love it. They do it really well.
'Especially when Donald Trump is not there to get them over the line.'
Kelly went on to accuse her party of not being 'strong' and hiding behind the president's strength while calling for a competent post-Trump strategy.

You have so called GOP senators who are against getting rid of the filabuster like McConnell, Collins, and Murkowski.
I’m concerned about 2026 AND 2028.
Trump is a once in a lifetime candidate, actually he’s probably a once in a century candidate. I still think Vance has a good chance of getting elected, because three years is a lifetime in politics and the Democrats will overreach like they always do.
Just two weeks ago Trump was riding high. We thought we had a good chance in New Jersey. He had just come back from Japan. Had a successful trip to the Middle East got the Israeli Gaza peace deal, and now the Democrats are riding high based on their Tuesday victories and their ability to turn the government shut down against the Republicans. Anything can happen in politics it often does. It is just a down week for us, but there are some serious warning signs about what we need to do not only for 2026 but more importantly, 2028 and then well into the future.
It’s time for a new party. I think we are starting to see the fringes take over both parties, and centrists are being squeezed out. The fringes on the right are starting to throw Trump under the bus.
By then, the RAT Party of Death will have installed a Silver Spoon King (Newscum) or a Jamaican (HooDoo) as Queen.
“...Democrats scored big wins in New Jersey, Virginia and New York City...”
Yeah, I can’t remember ever seeing that happen before.
The last thing we want is to give leftists momentum.
We just did.
The folly of politics is thinking that your far ahead when you are not. Unless the economic issues are solved American Conservativism will be in prison.
If President Trump doesn’t fulfill his mandate to obliterate and drain before the midterms, his call to wait in 2021 to vote in 2024 will have been bullschiff.
They caught the Swamp in his first term.
Clear as I can tell, most of the Swamp walks free and breathes free air.
Thats not obliteration or draining.
And President Trump and any of the R Swamp Team will have a hard time saying 2026 is ‘the most important election ‘ without being laughed at.
NYC and NYS GOP loves to lose too. Also, I think in NJ, the 2am fraud happened at 2am the day of the election, and not after the polls closed.
The Freeper pearl clutchers have arrived, right on cue.
For the most part, Meg is right.
There are some bright lights among us, such as Vance and Rubio. but they remain outnumbered by others quite prepared to play the Gentleman Loser, using old tactics of negotiation that don’t work anymore. Senator Grassley with his “blue slip” agreements that give the Dems a louder voice than the minority party is meant to have. Is one example.
I was thinking that Trump was wise to try to take over an existing party. The alternative is Reform in the UK - divide and conquer yourself.
The Uniparty RINOs still exist. They are just laying a little lower, now.
Where were all these 2024 voters in 2025?
Trump didn’t “just win” 2024. He eviscerated any semblance of what was once known as the Democrat party. We reached a stunning national consensus -— we have not lived in anything resembling the nation that was envisioned by our Founders and we gloated that was about to be reversed, b/c a broad coalition voted overwhelmingly for Donald Trump in 2024.

I agree. We should ignore these black robbed assholes that interfere with the Trump agenda. We should ignore all media, they ARE the enemy.
I'm curious Meghan, what would YOU do?
Yep, like the old saying, the proof is in the pudding and we need results, tangible real results, not talk.
That would be the best way to gum up the works.
get 2-3 senators and a decent chunk in the house and we can stall pretty much everything.
At this point course reversal is probably impossible, but we can at least stall.
The Republican Party, reshaped by Laura Trump, *is* the new party. For the most part, the RINOs have been sent exiled into the wilderness.
However, I'll never underestimate the ability of Conservatives to engage in in-fighting and snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
‘Politico report surrounding a leaked Young Republicans’ group chat that contained racist messages instead of focusing on the elections’
Gee wiz!
No doubt in my mind that those nasty messages were NOT
posted by Republicans: but, rather, by a nasty group of Dems and communists. And it worked.
The new party would have to also embrace “Fetterman Democrats”. It will have to be a ‘big tent’ party. But it’s now at the point where both parties are too far gone to save.
