White House Rejects COP30 Brazil Climate Fest Attendance
Breitbart ^ | 3 Nov 2025 | Simon Kent

No top White House officials will fly down to Brazil later this month for the U.N. Climate Change Conference (COP30) with President Donald Trump instead preferring to put U.S. domestic energy and job growth first.

Trump withdrew from the Paris Climate Agreement for a second time on his return to the White House as promised back in January, as Breitbart News reported.

The departure meant U.S. taxpayer dollars stopped going to the U.N.-sanctioned body, much to the despair of climate doomers everywhere.

Trump had not been expected to attend a leaders’ summit ahead of the annual U.N. climate conference in Belem.

Well, if the organizers and global warming acolytes are looking for $$$$$, they’ll have plenty of attendees to put the pinch on without the Admin giving away tax dollars for another boondoggle.

There is no sense in spending taxpayer money to send people to support the climate scam.

“more than 100 state and local U.S. leaders — including ... mayors of towns large and small — are still expected to join the talks.”

that’s because every USA town, large and small, SHOULD have their very own international climate treaty, regardless of the cost to the local taxpayers to pay for trips to Brazil for their local officials!

I’ve heard these sorts of conferences become party central. These elected officials from around the country get a taxpayer paid trip to some exotic place. And it’s party time. They will listen to some of the obligatory speeches, and then party on , on the taxpayer’s dime.

They should have sent a representative to sit there, listen to all of them politely, stand up, say “Bullshit.”, and sit down.

Amazon Forest Cleared for Road to Carry Globalist Elites to Climate Summit
Breitbart ^ | 3/12/25 | Simon Kent

A new four-lane highway requiring the decimation of tens of thousands of acres of protected Amazon rainforest is being built to carry globalist elites to the COP30 climate summit in the Brazilian city of Belém.

The BBC reports the aim is to ease vehicle traffic to the city, which will host more than 50,000 people – including world leaders – at the U.N. sponsored conference in November.

COP30 will also see the usual thousands of attendees flying in for the occasion.

Critics are quick to point out the sheer hypocrisy of this deforestation as it contradicts the claimed purpose of a climate summit. The BBC report notes:

Along the partially built road, lush rainforest towers on either side – a reminder of what was once there. Logs are piled high in the cleared land which stretches more than 13km (8 miles) through the rainforest into Belém.

Diggers and machines carve through the forest floor, paving over wetland to surface the road which will cut through a protected area....

a more productive use of taxpayer money than making pretend agreements that would pointlessly make energy more expensive ...
