It is sick. There’s a difference between charity and insanity.

The outrage should be over how many people get food stamps period. Its something like 40 million. That’s not just poor people. And they go on and on and on forever. Its not temporary. The government needs to seriously revamp the food stamps program to cut it off for everyone other than the disabled and elderly after a certain point.

If you ask Grok or ChatGPT, the comments range from NO undocumented illegal migrants get SNAP/Foodstamps because its not permitted (LOL!) to 1.7 million “households.” Both also cite CIS studies as well.

I would say - NO ONE KNOWS FOR SURE. Not even Fed.gov

And that’s on purpose. It’s a fantastic political corruption tool and Democrat/Deep State controllers have purposely built opacity, incompetence, and corruption into the system. It’s not a bug - it’s a feature.

"households headed by illegal immigrants make extensive use of the welfare system, particularly food assistance programs."

It is a feature, not a bug. The last company that I worked for had THREE production plants in Mexico that had a constant struggle finding enough people to work even with round the clock food service that would astound you for the quality and variety, attendance bonuses and competitive wages. None of this attracted the migrants heading north, only the locals with some work ethic.

Why do you suppose that was?

We subsidize 59% of illegal immigrants, and that doesn’t include over 20 States that refused to respond…. It would seem a safe bet that the biggest and bluest Stares are > that 59% rate.

“We’re giving cash, food, healthcare, and housing to people who aren’t even supposed to be here.”

I think TECHNICALLY we’re giving it to their anchor babies.

Before the cards, you could see them using food stamps in the grocery lines. Now, the stamps are gone and they along with Americans use the cards. They have been doing it since food stamps came out.

The first solution is that all welfare programs must require proof of citizenship.

No, the first solution is to DEPORT EVERY SINGLE ILLEGAL ALIEN INVADER, and that should include their children, whether they were born here not.

The second solution is to greatly restrict what can be purchased with SNAP benefits, how long someone can receive them, and more thorough verification that people getting SNAP actually need it, and aren't simply freeloading.

The democrat party figured out a way to invade the country with foreigners and have us pay for it.

Prison is too good for them.

I’m all for states rights when they apply, but SNAP funding also comes from all of the US, and no state has a right to not provide necessary data to the federal government which has a part in doling out the money.

“Read that again. We’re giving cash, food, healthcare, and housing to people who aren’t even supposed to be here.”

I was born and raised here almost 70 years ago and nobody gave me cash, food, healthcare, and housing, except my parents in my early years. After that, it was decades of hard work.
America is so generous to everyone except their own.

This chart was published by Center for Immigration Studies https://cis.org/
Nearly Half of Non-Citizen Households with Young Children Use Food Welfare Programs Analysis of the 2024 Survey of Income and Program Participation (SIPP) reveals that 47 percent of households headed by non-citizen s with children under age six – the target population for the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) nutrition program – receive either WIC or the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, often called food stamps). With funding for both programs suspended amid the federal government shutdown, immigrant communities are going to be hard hit.

That is the definition of chutzpah.

” 29 states stepped up. 21 blue states refused — and two SUED US FOR ASKING!”

If you sue the Federal Government for asking about the distribution of Federal Government money.....you should not get any further Federal Government money.

Given how obese those parasites SNAP recipients are, they would benefit much more of a DAP (Diet Assistance Program) than a SNAP. Keeping to pay these people to stuff their face with food is not assistance, it's criminal. Why no one in the current administration has the courage to say it is beyond me.

I can implement a nationwide DAP for $0 with big beautiful results. I will pay myself royally with all the money saved by hospitals and insurances for being relieved of all the chronic diseases caused by obesity.

I remember when they had these little booklets where they would tear off the food stamps. I guess that was too humiliating for the recipients, so they switched it to cards that look like anybody’s debit card. How well I remember seeing overweight women with several kids, another on the way, no wedding ring, and speaking Spanish, paying with food stamps at the stores. While I and other Americans worked full time, clipped coupons, and did without. This has been going on forever, and is infuriating.
