KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Russia has deployed around 170,000 troops in Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region where they are trying to capture the stronghold of Pokrovsk in a major push for a battlefield victory, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Friday.
“The situation in Pokrovsk is difficult,” Zelenskyy said, while also rejecting recent Russian claims that the devastated city is surrounded after more than a year of fighting. He acknowledged that some Russian units had infiltrated the city, but insisted that Ukrainian defenders are weeding them out.
“There are Russians in Pokrovsk,” Zelenskyy told a media briefing in Kyiv. “They are being destroyed, gradually destroyed, because, well, we need to preserve our personnel.”

Ukraine can send the same number to stop them, no worries.
170,000 people not troops
that’s the math the russians are counting on.
MSM told me Russia was running out of troops because of constant “meat attacks”
Lots of "information" out there. Right here on FR, we've learned:

Isn’t it time for Zippy to go on another begging tour?
Did the Associated Presstitutes mention if Zelensky had a missile buried halfway up his a$$ when they interviewed him?
Yeah, they live there Zippy.
Which country has lost 25% of its population? Which country has lost approximately 20% of its land area? Which country adds 35,000 volunteer troops a month to its army? Which country has to patrol its streets and grab men which are then forced into military service, adding an average 1,700 soldiers to its army each month?
Buzz off back to Ukraine.
The massive US influx of military and economic assistance that has been floating the Ukraine economy and war effort is winding down
The EU has pledged to keep funding the war in Ukraine and supplying weapons to the Ukraine
But Zelensky claims he needs 120 billion euros a year to keep the Ukraine afloat and in the fight which is generally accurate
The Eurozone has proudly pledged 3 billion euros to Ukraine so far which is woefully inadequate to keep the Ukrainian economy afloat and supply the military with the necessary tools to resist the Russians
As the Ukraine’s resources and ability to sustain the war dwindle, Russia is steadily turning up the heat with large scale air attacks on vital infrastructure and military pressure on the ground in key areas
This is a very bad trend and it’s getting worse and worse and everyone involved is fully aware of the situation and the ultimate consequences
And yet Zelensky and the EU flat refuse to budge on their completely unrealistic terms for an end to the war - term that would be a tough sell even if the Ukraine were actually winning the war
The only conclusion one can make is that Zelensky and the EU are going to try to engineer a military and human rights crisis in the Ukraine in the near future and the dare President Trump to try to stay out and not intervene
The Russians seem to understand this and they are slowly but surely grinding the Ukraine down while avoiding any dramatic military operations that would generate a crisis
At the cost of 7000 KIA a week

Let me know when they produce a video of one of these Russian meat attacks.
The casualty figures for this war are being inflated by propagandists on both sides.
