Senate Democrats are still clinging to tainted Jeffrey Epstein cash even while hectoring the Trump administration over releasing files about the notorious pedophile financier.

Epstein shelled out a string of campaign contributions to prominent candidates when he was traveling in powerful social circles that included financial and political elites.

Most were Democrats, and many recipients returned the cash or made equivalent donations to charity after his shocking arrest on federal sex-trafficking charges in 2019.

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, now headed by Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), took a different tack – keeping the $59,000 in Epstein contributions it accumulated through a series of donations between 1994 and 2000.

Why haven't they refunded those donations so they can go to the Epstein victims' fund.

“The biggest checks were for $20,000 in 1999 and $25,000 in 2000, Federal Election Commission records reveal. At the time, the group was run by New Jersey Sen. Robert Toricelli (D-N.J.), who would later quit the Senate in 2002 amid corruption allegations.”

“...the notorious pedophile financier.”

Not to defend Epstein, but is there any evidence that he molested or allowed the molestation of prepubescent children? I was under the impression that he was trafficking in underaged women.

"Joe, I understand there's rock solid evidence in these Epstein files your justice department is sitting on that implicates Donald Trump in an underage sex scandal. The joy has left my campaign and I'm losing in the polls to literal Hitler. Maybe you could release them to the public?"

"No."

I believe you are correct. He was scum of the earth, but I’ve seen no evidence that he trafficked in prepubescent children.

IIRC just a few weeks ago the DOJ turned over to The House over 33,000 unredacted Epstein Documents.

For the first time this century a House investigation has not leaked one document to We The People. I’m sure our enemies have received multiple copies.

The Dems had the White House, the Senate, the Congress, the FBI, and the DOJ for FOUR YEARS, they could have released every file, every picture, every text, every video on Epstein but for FOUR YEARS we didnt hear ONE PEEP about Epstein, they never uttered his name, now they are obsessed with him. Guess what, if they were to ever get back power you all wouldnt hear his name again either, they would drop it

Perhaps the files implicate both Republicans and Democrats. The release of the files would destroy the opposing party as well as your party. Mutual Assured Destruction (MAD). It is essentially a kill switch should someone other than Epstein and his handlers gains possession of the files.

Interesting that folks that demand release of the documents suddenly shut up when they actually see the documents. Too many ultra wealthy and powerful politicians of all stripes are on the list for it ever to be released to the public.

To be clear, Epstein collaborated with Mossad and cooperated with the CIA. And you cross those folks at your own risk.

Mutual Assured Destruction (MAD). I

Yawn...

"Breaking news! Rich, powerful men had sex with teenage strumpets!"

No more earth shattering a revelation today than learning that every rock star I listened to back in the 70s-80s was doing the same thing.

Think the world's going to come to an end if we find out that Bill Clinton was banging teenage hookers?

"She told me she was 18, bro. Y'all knew I was a horndog!"

And that's the end of that.

The real truth is that there aren't any Epstein files and that's a tougher pill to swallow.

Still wondering why anyone with two neurons to rub together would assume that Deep State left the Trump admin files that were reliable.

Not according to the DOJ. This link will take you to an evidence list which is a part of the search warrant return.
