The first video “Richard LA” posted to TikTok appeared on Aug. 21, 2024.
“Accident at 27th and San Pedro,” he wrote in Spanish under video clips showing two damaged cars and paramedics pushing a man on a gurney into an ambulance. “2 people were taken to the hospital.”
“Richard LA” was actually Carlitos Ricardo Parias, 44, a father of two living in southern Los Angeles. His TikTok feed soon filled with similar clips. A fire at a home on 36th and Trinity streets. A car crash on 29th Street and Maple Avenue.
His audience grew steadily over the ensuing months. And his clips were consumed even more widely when he began to focus his camera on the Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids roiling Los Angeles. Multiple videos he posted this month got more than 50,000 views.
“He has risen to become this very credible, respected and admired citizen journalist,” said Angelina Dumarot, a spokesperson for Los Angeles City Council member Curren Price. “He did it with a lot of love and a lot of passion and in a very courageous way.”
But there was something many didn’t know: Parias was an undocumented immigrant himself, according to federal authorities. And on Tuesday, he was targeted by federal agents trying to arrest him in an immigration proceeding, leading to a chaotic confrontation in downtown Los Angeles.
"Parias was the subject of an administrative immigration arrest warrant and had avoided capture before," prosecutors said.

Then, as one here illegally with a warrant out, continue to put your face out while drawing attention to (narcing on) ICE activities... as an activist yourself...

Carlitos Ricardo Parias, a 44-year-old illegal alien from Mexico living in South Los Angeles, is now charged in a criminal complaint with assault on a federal officer. He is expected to make his initial appearance tomorrow at the Roybal Federal Building in downtown L.A. and would face up to eight years in federal prison if convicted.
This morning, Parias rammed his car into agents’ vehicles after they boxed him in and ordered him to submit to arrest. Parias, who had previously avoided capture by immigration authorities, refused to comply with agents’ orders and escalated what could have been a simple arrest into a life-threatening situation.
Parias rammed a Toyota Camry into the law enforcement vehicles in front of and behind him, spun the Camry’s tires, spewing smoke and debris into the air, causing the car to fishtail and causing agents to worry for their safety. An agent breaking the Camry’s driver’s side window was not enough to subdue Parias.
Ultimately, an agent opened fire, wounding Parias and a deputy U.S. marshal, who was hit with a ricochet bullet. Fortunately, both the deputy marshal and Parias are expected to recover. Parias was arrested. He is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Vehicles are deadly weapons. Anyone who uses them against federal agents risks arrest, imprisonment, and life-threatening injuries. We will continue to use every tool in our legal arsenal to protect our agents and enforce immigration laws passed by Congress.
Other accounts make it clear that the deputy was injured by a ricochet. Definitely "friendly fire".
The target of the arrest was not armed. He chose poorly to attempt escape by ramming his card out of a blocking trap.

When an agent tried to break the Camry’s driver’s side window, prosecutors said, Parias drove “more aggressively.” Plumes of smoke began to billow from the vehicles, apparently because of the spinning tires, prosecutors said.
With the agents fearing Parias could hit them with his Camry or dislodge it from between their vehicles, one opened fire, prosecutors said. Parias was struck in the elbow, and a deputy marshal was hit in the hand, according to prosecutors.

The illegals are only here because allowing it has meant beefing up the national census count in blue states every 20 years, and from that increasing blue state’s head count in the House of Representatives.
The Dims have always blocked federal legislative actions that would halt the flood of illegals. Because they actually care about the illegals? No. They have done it to protect the illegals contributions to the census counts in their Dim controlled states.
But a “funny thing” happened along the way. LEGAL “hispanic” immigration also increased, and with them more Conservative Hispanic culture, with increased religiosity and respect for the law and favoring law and order. With that cultural shift the illegal gambit of the Dims in states like Florida and Texas has waned.
That is why now the actions backed by Dims has become more brazen, more incendiary and more prone to violence - desperation is setting in with the Dims. The gains of their illegal gambit are diminishing.
What do “they” need to do now? First you have to recognize that “they” are not the “Democratic Party” faces you see, as much as they are the Marxists and Marxists organs that have used the Democratic Party as their public front. What do the Marxists want to create now? They want to create insurrectionist acts, for how much they can achieve and to use law enforcement’s reaction to them as “the tyrannical wrong” they will sell to win more idiots to join them.
