Last I heard, that meeting with Putin was off.

Author is late. Trump is not going now, after Putin disagreed with a ceasefire in place.

It’s always about energy. Especially with Russia.

the meeting is supposedly off, and meaningless if it came to pass. But, the article states that Putin invaded to steal the land wealth contained in Ukrainian soil. Sounds like a real good reason to stop Russia, now and forever. Why do bank robberies happen? That's where the money is.

Why does Putin invade his neighbors? That's where the wealth is.

But, why does Putin really want to invade his neighbors? Because that's what, in his mind, validates his greatness.

What would that entail, exactly?

What President Trump is going to Budapest for

That's just plain bad grammar.
Proper grammar requires fewer words: Why is President Trump going to Budapest?
Oh, and Trump isn't going there BTW....

Make them powerless, like it's happening now.

Ukraine, with help from outside, is doing a good job at that.

And, Russia has been revealed to be nothing but a paper-tiger, with a military that is basically third-rate, and even less now.

Russia has an economy which is unable to support its military, and now, with its oil infrastructure losing about 40% from the Ukrainian strikes, is even less capable.

I know you post about one hundred articles per day, but you need to pay attention to what's really happening to Russia.

Your day job is not helping you much.

So we should continue conducting the proxy war that in the same breath you will deny exists?

To retrieve the crown of St. Stephen which one of his predecessors for some reason gave to the Communist regime?

Since when is helping a friend in battling a monster the same as a proxy war?

You want to define it as a proxy war, in order to demonize the assistance being provided.

FACT is that, no war, proxy or otherwise, would be occurring if Putin had not decided to invade a free and independent country. Did you forget that part in your 'definition' and demonization?

So "helping a friend in battling a monster" by supplying weapons and giving them $350,000,000,000++ to fight a war that would be "unsustainable" without that support isn't a proxy war?

No matter how much, wars are not cheap, and when battling one of the biggest military powers in the world, no cost is too much, A lot more would be lost if the cost was what mattered the most.

Still not a proxy war, no matter how many times you repeat the nonsense.

And war is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength and 2 + 2 = 5, right?

Zelensky is using British-made missiles to attack Putin's gunpowder factory

But it is NOT a proxy war. No sir!

Orwell had people like YOU in mind when he made that statement.

For it is YOU and others like you who are in denial of the actual goings on in the Putin vs Ukraine war.

The evidence is out there, and your mental blindness is causing you nightmares, which then causes you to not listen to the truth or admit it.
