When Donald Trump secured a historic peace deal that ended the war in Gaza, Time magazine tried to meet the moment with its traditional cover.
Instead, it was dubbed, in the president's words, the 'worst photo ever taken'.
As all the living Israeli hostages were returned home and the shelling stopped, the outlet published a trailblazing photo of the 79-year-old alongside the words: 'His triumph'.
Trump appears to be looking up into a beam of light, in what editors may have considered a magisterial pose.

I honestly didn’t think the cover looked that bad, and apparently the article was pretty positive and complimentary. Nevertheless, if the photo choice was deliberately chosen to make Trump look bad, there should be consequences.
NO! It was an attempt to make him look like Mussolini.
Perhaps they will correct it with a very flattering picture and story
Marc Benioff, the founder of Salesforce, and his wife Lynne, own TIME magazine. They purchased the publication in 2018 for $190 million from Meredith Corporation and publish it through their company, Time USA, LLC.
To their credit:
Behind a paywall. What’d the owner do?
Our iconographers very carefully and conscientiously inform us poor benighted rubes as to who we should hate. They make it a point to catch the villains with an unflattering expression, a grimace, with mouth open, etc. When taking a picture of someone we must disdain, they hold the camera at belt level, to get an unflattering shot from below eye level.
Magisterial pose?
That was as unflattering as it gets, with his floppy neck front and center.
It was a crappy pic and they did it on purpose.
The only part focused in was his neck.
Looks like someone bent under the toilet stall door to take it!
Whoever chose the cover photo for this issue should be fired big time.
My blocker blocks it, but I found this:
NOTE: If this is a copyright issue, please remove the post, I have no problem with that. But I think it would be okay since the image is the story.

It is a hit job, journalistically speaking. That is plain and transparent. I don't mind that they do it, it further shows their bias and inclinations. Shows them clearly for what they are at Time.
Yes it’s a crappy picture, but the saving grace is that so few will ever see it.
Hahahahahahahahaha-excellent point!
Oh hey, and make the shot as bad as you possibly can. Maybe get a shot from the ground right up his nostrils.
Time magazine...lol. Nobody buys that old school wad of paper. It’s time they go....lol
Trying to make him look like demented Biden.
The slimy media pulled the same nonsense with a creepy photo of McCain during the elections of 2008. At the same time Obama was portrayed as a Christ figure and often had the lights behind him show up nearly as halos.
A low angle shot is usually done for the purpose of emphasizing the subject’s stature and power. Now there may be other things wrong with this photo, like the lighting, etc. and President Trump is apparently not fond of low angle shots in general, but the purpose of a low angle shot is to generally convey a sense of the subject’s stature and power.
I have to say it’s not that bad compared to supposedly artistic photography by Annie Lebovitz. The arrogant photographer that made all Republicans older and tired and told Queen Elizabeth II to change outfits!
