A Criminal Illegal Alien Superintendent Is The Inevitable Result Of Leftists Controlling Public Schools

So it turns out that the Des Moines superintendent Ian Andre Roberts had an even longer rap sheet than previously known. According to the most recent release of records from DHS, Roberts had been violating immigration and firearm laws for close to three decades.

Understandably, most people will wonder how such a fraud can find himself at the head of a large urban school district in a state as ruby-red as Iowa. As executive editor Joy Pullman has explained, this is simply the result of a leftist regime systematically taking over the American public education system: “[Roberts is] the inevitable product of a system the Left has built for rewarding people for pushing hateful, un-American ideology at public expense and punishing excellence

Why it matters:
Besides the obvious, the author explains how much power school boards have and how they project power over communities instead of promoting education.

When the WWII/Korea veterans and tight-fisted farmers disappeared from Iowa school boards due to union influence of school board elections, the schools started going to hell. Increasing fedgov involvement shoved them over the cliff.

Des Moines is actually not the worst school district in Iowa for a student to be in, but the AWFULs on that board are capable of delivering that distinction.

I completely understand how he snowed the school boards and the hiring boards. He’s black and charismatic. “We need someone like him to make us look good and liberal. Our friends will invite us to the best parties.” they said.

What I truly can’t fathom is how he got a job as a Director in Pennsylvania.

After that stupid football coach looked the other way for decades with the other stupid football coach molesting boys, Pennsylvania decided that everyone was guilty of child abuse.

Now, anyone who works with or even near children, teachers, janitor, Sunday school, coach, volunteer, even contractors working during school hours must register with the state Child Abuse Registry. It includes state and Federal background checks, fingerprints, references etc. If you’ve lived in PA less than ten years, it’s at your expense.

I volunteer with a youth organization and many under my leadership are in PA. It’s incredibly difficult and time consuming to register as a volunteer. Our organization also requires a serious background check to volunteer. The cost in PA is far above the other 49 states.

How this dirtbag skated past that is perplexing. I hope that the state is investigation that and will be prosecuting anyone who aided and abetted him.

Good comment. It is interesting to note that many states have child protection laws that require coaches to undergo background checks. This clown probably could not even coach little league yet he heads a large an school district.

Type into Google “Des Moines School Board”, click ‘images’ and take a look at the people on the board.

You will see all you need to see.

He’s black and charismatic.

He certainly is black, and by all accounts he could charm the birds out of the trees. But there are lots of qualified black Americans who charismatic. Why did couldn’t the school board hire one of them, if they felt they just had to have a black in the job?

PA is the only state that requires such a deep dive. Any halfway decent organization requires a background check. Probably driven by their insurance company.

Sadly, I’m dealing with another organization that is fighting us because their attorney claims that the laws in his state are more lenient than our rules and he wants to use that. He said that abuse reporting isn’t always required in his state. Abuse is abuse and needs to be dealt with harshly and quickly.

Sadly, I know this man personally and have lost every shred of respect I ever had for him.

The left has been destroying the education system since Dewey and it’s time to shut it down.
There are so many good changes that we can make, but not as long as these morons control it.
