Curbing forced marriages is another target of the legislation.
Conservative Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has introduced legislation in Parliament against ‘Islamic separatism’ that, among other things, would institute a ban on the burka and niqab in public places.
The Telegraph reported:
“The prime minister’s ruling Brothers of Italy party put forward a bill imposing fines of between £260 and £2,600 for wearing the face-covering garments in schools, universities, shops and offices.
The party called it a bill against ‘Islamic separatism’ aimed at combating ‘religious radicalization and religiously motivated hatred’.
It introduces criminal penalties for virginity testing, while strengthening punishment for forced marriages by adding religious coercion as grounds for prosecution.”

The bill also lays out transparency rules on the funding of Mosques and other religious organizations.
Muslim organizations must disclose all funding sources, ‘with financing restricted to entities that pose no threat to state security’. Financing of Mosques will be more transparent with Meloni’s new legislation.
“Ms. Meloni’s Right-wing coalition government has a strong majority. The bill, which was proposed on Wednesday, is expected to pass but there is no timetable yet.
The burka is a full-body garment that covers a woman from head to foot, including a mesh screen over the eyes. The niqab is a veil for the face that leaves the area around the eyes clear.”

Sure, criminals hiding their faces in public enables them to evade arrest and recognition. Races of people with women too ugly to be seen in public should not be permitted to settle in the country, let alone increase and multiply.
The dictators who run the Fourth Reich (oops, I meant the EU) won’t like this one bit.
So Meloni can expect some sanction threats coming her way.
England gave away their cultural heritage to radical islam. America has done the same thing in Dearborn and Minneapolis. Trump outlawed muslims in his first term but got overruled by the dems. Dems now want all the muslims into America they can get. Wait till sharia law is enacted. There are places in Dearborn you cannot go without your burka on.
Hamtramck, Michigan is the town where mosques are permitted to play the call to prayer over loudspeakers, following a 2004 city ordinance amendment. The amendment allows mosques to broadcast the call to prayer, or azan, five times a day, with specific regulations on volume and timing.
Wonder why they don’t have such a bill?.

On many, many occasions, bad actors have escaped or tried to escape arrest for terrorist acts by donning Burkas to get away. It is a complete block to visual identification in public.
If she banned suicide vests, the left would find reason to complain.
