Where are getting that money from? I keep seeing these commercials about elderly Jews in Israel starving to death and living in squalor. Why doesn't Israel use that money to help its own citizens instead of begging for money from people half a world away?

As more lay Catholics and non-Catholic or “denominationalist” Christians (and hopefully Cruz himself learn the truth of the matter, the modern state of Israel will need to adjust its approach.

Not that it isn’t a natural ally of the U.S. (and among our natural allies a particularly good ally) worthy of support in the normal course, but Israel should stop trying deliberately to tug at biblical heartstrings.

Yes, thanks. I did mean that those ads target Christians for scamming. Jews in America are besieged by Jewish organizations seeking money. They don’t need TV ads.

Israel GDP per capita is $55-60,000 with very high taxes and robust social welfare, including many actual charitable organizations for Israel’s 10 million citizens.

Israel spends PENNIES, in essence, trying to build support in the USA. However...I don’t think Israel NEEDS to spend money building support among Christian churches. Many churches are already strongly pro-Israel.
