U.S. Border Patrol agents shot a woman in Chicago Saturday after an angry mob apparently tried to attack the law enforcement officers.
The gunfire erupted after a group of agents were “rammed in by 10 cars” and “boxed in” while patrolling the city’s South Side, Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin told the Chicago Sun-Times.
The agents fired “defensive shots,” then discovered the woman, who was driving in a vehicle, “was armed with a semi-automatic weapon,” McLaughlin told the outlet.

I’m sorry, but something’s not adding up here. Those two statements do not add up.
If “one of the drivers who rammed the law enforcement vehicle” then “drove herself to hospital”?
Both of things cannot be true. Either she’s under arrest regardless of being shot and she’ll be *driven* to the hospital with an officer riding along or...
FAFO.
If she’s going to act like that, she takes the consequences.

This is approaching martial law level stuff, when you have people that are openly attacking law-enforcement like this. I’m glad that law-enforcement used to lethal force as they should’ve, and people that are doing this need to be put away for decades under federal prosecution to avoid these elected Dipshit local judges letting them off.
It feels different because it is different. The election of Trump poses a lethal threat to the left wing insurgent coalition set in motion by Obama, and quietly for the most part dismantling the American way of life. They were well prepared to continue the silent coup with the help of a now fully coopted democrat party. They have ratcheted up the violence level ten fold because their survival is at stake, and they do not intend to go down without a fight. I expect this will escalate, not subside.

I can only be grateful for every media network that recognizes getting along with Trump means adding people reporting our side correctly. That SHOULD provide SOME balance if the violence progresses.
Then I would expect the statement from ICE to say that the “suspect is still at large”.
But that’s not what it says. It says “(She) drove herself to the hospital to get care for her wounds”.

I don’t change my principles or my view of rights the government must respect based on who exercises those rights. This woman sounds like a real piece of work, but that doesn’t change my principles.
If she rammed a vehicle, she’s under arrest. Period. Full stop.
She has a legal right to own a firearm. She does NOT have a legal right to ram vehicles, much less “law enforcement vehicles”.
I am simply saying this: That statement makes no sense. Either she committed a crime and she would NOT be “driving herself to the hospital” or.... something isn’t kosher here.
