An Unavoidable American Conflict
American Thinker ^ | Chuck Mason

Posted on 09/19/2025 4:04:07 AM PDT by RoosterRedux

The death of an outspoken conservative American was only a matter of time. The coming conflict remains unavoidable.

This is incomprehensible to conservative Americans. We think America is indomitable; no American in his right mind would ever deny freedom to embrace Marxism in any form. But we’re fatally naïve, because we don’t understand how ideas build nations and tear them apart. America is caught in a war of competing ideologies, and we don’t know how these wars work. We were too busy enjoying endless prosperity to learn that America, like any other nation, rises and falls based on the ideas that define its vision for equality and justice.

Every nation is built on a set of generally accepted ideas, beliefs, and assumptions that define concepts of justice, peace, freedom, property, equality, and acceptable sexuality and conduct that become the foundation for society. That nation remains relatively stable until the ideological foundation changes, as radical ideas and theories cast a new vision of equality and justice that criminalizes the past and demands liberation for the future. This ideological crisis results in bloodshed as irreconcilable visions of equality and justice compete for supremacy until one ultimately defeats the other. This is the story of the battle between the Jewish and Christian West and Marxism throughout the 20th century. The battle has come to America. It’s as vulnerable to Marxism as any nation.

Aleksander Solzhenitsyn warned us: “Alas, all the evil of the twentieth century is possible everywhere on earth.”

If you’re incredulous, ask those who suffered under Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot what happens when equity captures the hearts and minds of young radicals who were willing to liquidate over 100 million to achieve the utopian promise. Kirk’s death reveals that equity has no intention of leaving America unscathed.

Patriotic Americans must wake up to the existential Marxist threat we face.

I think that's what Charlie's assassination did for us. It is our wake-up call.

we shall see.

Charlie’s assassination was clearly some thing God allowed to wake everyone up, but likely most will roll over and go back to sleep quickly.

I pray that enough people not only stay awake, but also learn, and get involved to make a difference.

We should be careful not to malign the ancient and righteous civil legal term and concept of "equity" Equity is a kind of remedy founded in the Biblical Mosaic Law. It has been hijacked by pagan marxists who want redistribute wealth like little gods.

Psalm 98:9 Before the Lord; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity

Fact: A radical leftist killed Charlie Kirk.
Fallacy: They're satisfied. It's over.
Reality: Message from the left: You're next.

Did they wake up when you said, “Wake the F@ck people"?

No, they didn't.

Most people on FR have been calling on America to wake up for a very long time. So don't think you are special.

Excellent essay, but I take subtle exception to this passage:
"This is the story of the battle between the Jewish and Christian West and Marxism throughout the 20th century. The battle has come to America. It’s as vulnerable to Marxism as any nation."
Without this devolving into sophistry, I'd like to point out that 95% of the members of the American "Left" are not Marxists in the true sense of the word. Few of them could actually quote Marx, or give any concise, coherent explanation of Marx's theories on "class war." Rather, they are simply the "useful idiots" who Lenin said could be instrumentalized by the Party.

Regards,

“America is caught in a war of competing ideologies, and we don’t know how these wars work.”

I’d say that between 1861 and 1865 we knew pretty damn well how “those wars” work.

Their sleep will continue to be interrupted. One day it may become so loud, even the neighbors will wake. I hope they can greet each other cordially.

We can definitely defeat the Globalist, Gaia Worshiping, race communists but we need to take certain steps to do so. We need to break the Left's stranglehold on 4 key areas of power - academia, entertainment, media and the federal bureaucracy.

The corporate media is rapidly dying. Their power is already a shadow of what it was even 10 years ago. Their audiences are relatively small and quite old. The Boomers are really the last generation that watches or trusts them - they've already lost everybody from Gen X on down. Big Tech which I consider to be part of media is much more diverse now with platforms like substack, rumble/locals, X, podcasts and more not under the Silicon Valley blob's control. Furthermore, I believe a series of court cases are going to soon clip Big Tech's wings even more. Independent media has grown on all of these platforms exponentially and has largely displaced the old corporate media.

Entertainment also is starting to see more daylight. David Ellison - the son of Larry Ellison - is quickly amassing a media/film empire that will rival Disney and some of the other titans of the industry. Larry Ellison is a longtime Republican donor, a close friend and ally of Elon Musk and is one of the richest men in America. Also, more filmmaking is leaving Hollywood. It may take some time yet but the Left's dominance here is waning.

Next is Academia. One big key here is school choice. More states are adopting it. We need to push that through in yet more states. Though the teacher's union hates it, Blacks and Hispanics support it which puts the Democrats in a precarious position when they oppose it. The growth of homeschooling in the wake of Covid is another positive. The more kids we move OUT of the public schools, the better. As for universities, we need to make a much more concerted effort here to introduce diversity of thought into the faculty. Florida and some others have taken steps to curb some of the worst abuses of Leftist professors but more needs to be done. I'd be all in favor of including diversity of thought requirements into hiring for universities. The more the Lefties scream, the more you know something is a good idea and they would scream loudly about that.

Finally there is the government bureaucracy. President Trump has finally started to eliminate some departments and curb others. MUCH more needs to be done. The purges so far haven't gone anywhere near deep enough. Many federal bureaucracies need to be moved out of the DC Swamp and into small town America. This will have the benefit of making them much more responsive to the American people because that's who they'll be around, simultaneously it will help drain the DC Swamp. It will have the added benefit of causing many of the leftists who work for those bureaucracies to shriek in horror at the prospect of having to live among regular Americans and not in their corrupt DC Swamp and quit as a result. Beautiful! Those are exactly the kind of people we want to get rid of in the first place.

We still have the ballot box before the bullet box, but how many Republicans will take advantage of it in the midterms? Georgia is 30% black. 90% of them vote Democrat. So Democrats in GA start with a 27% advantage. We have 1 senate seat up this time - the totally unqualified soyboy Democrat,Jon Ossoff, installed in part with the help of the Fulton county Democrat election theft machine. Without Trump on the ballot how many Republicans will pull their thumbs out of their asses and vote? Past performance does not lend an optimistic view. Will the murder of Charlie Kirk have faded into the background? If we don’t keep it in the forefront as an example of what Democrats want to do to everyone who doesn’t share their perverted illogical fantasy world it will.

Since at least 9.11 we’ve had wake up call after wake up call. We are in a spiritual battle we can’t win without God. Until we humble ourselves and appeal to Him to fix this toxic mess of our own making, expect increasing levels of wake up calls. Like Reagan said, we’ll become a nation gone under, and we’ve already gone far down.

I’m pretty sure you could look at the history surrounding Stalin, Lenin, Pol Pot, Mao, and Castro for a refresher course.

No, I get that. All I’m saying is that the civil war was a fight between the competing ideologies of agrarianism and slavery versus industrialism and capitalism.

My family calls me a kook sometimes. My oldest sister was shocked severely from Charlie’s murder and the liberal aftermath. I was thinking “OK, so that’s where we are in the process”. I was not at all shocked. Because I know the liberals for what they are and what they’re capable of. And I’m also a student of history and the death of 100 million in the previous century is what one calls “a clue”.
