They purged all the right wingers from Reddit in 2016. r/The_Donald had HUGE traffic, and they banned it. We ended up at Patriots.win, but lost a *lot* of users. It was arguably the biggest sub out there.
The action showed that advertising revenue did not matter to the ownership of Reddit, running interference for the Left was more important.
Yup. I was on The_Donald when they killed it and been on patriots.win ever since.

Over many years they consistently evaluated (rated and ranked) foreign vendors who would mail to the US and called out anyone that sold fakes.
I am sure there are some other hobbies that have similar excellent groups...but of course for politics they are one big dumpster fire.
