NATO chief warns Russia that allies will defend airspace following drone incursion in Poland

NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte said Wednesday the North Atlantic Council had met after Poland invoked Article 4 of the NATO Treaty in response to Russian drones crossing into its airspace.

Article 4 authorized consultations among allies after its armed forces downed multiple Russian drones. The coalition that took on the Russian drones included Polish F-16s, Dutch F-35s, Italian AWACS early warning and control aircraft, and German Patriot missiles, Mr. Rutte said.

“I commend the pilots and all who contributed to this quick and skillful response,” he said. “Allies expressed solidarity with Poland and denounced Russia’s reckless behavior. A full assessment of the incident is ongoing.”

And, by 'they'll', you must be talking about Russia taking them/us/NATO/US to war. Which country invaded another country's airspace, or is it that the Polish airspace belongs to Russia?

The Russians don’t want to upset the Poles. Many Poles would enjoy hunting for Russians, without a bag limit.

I was just watching a video not long ago that said Europe wants a war...they sure are acting like it.

Not sure if this is a false flag or poorly target drones but I doubt Russia would attack the NATO, they’re just too few Russians to defeat all of Europe/US/Canada.

if the Russian drones are rendered unreliable or are easily sent off-course, then the Russians should stop using them, since a bigger war could result.

The Russians don’t want to upset the Poles. Many Poles would enjoy hunting for Russians, without a bag limit.

Putin and the Russian leadership don't mind upsetting the Poles, since, just like Ukraine, Poland used to be part of the Soviet Union, and the Russians want them back in the fold.

It's hard to imagine that somebody as stupid as Putin was in the KGB and now president of Russia.
