House Speaker Mike Johnson has revealed that President Donald Trump was once an 'FBI informant' in relation to Jeffrey Epstein's illegal activities.
Johnson made the stunning comments in the halls of Congress on Friday after being pressed by CNN's Manu Raju about Trump routinely calling the Epstein files controversy a Democrat-invented 'hoax'.
'What Trump is referring to is the hoax that the Democrats are using to try to attack him,' Johnson said. 'I’ve talked to him about this many times, many times. He is horrified. It’s been misrepresented. He’s not saying that what Epstein did is a hoax. It’s a terrible, unspeakable evil. He believes that himself.'
'When he first heard the rumor, he kicked him out of Mar-a-Lago. He was an FBI informant to try to take this stuff down,' added Johnson, which now raises new questions about Trump's relationship with Epstein.
As recently as Wednesday, Trump called Epstein scandal a 'hoax' after the Department of Justice insisted in July that there was no client list.
'This is a Democrat hoax that never ends,' Trump told reporters at the White House.
'From what I understand, I could check, but from what I understand, thousands of pages of documents have been given. But it's really a Democrat hoax because they're trying to get people to talk about something that's totally irrelevant to the success that we've had as a nation since I've been president,' he continued.
Johnson offered no other details about Trump's supposed role as an informant to the FBI on the Epstein case. He did not reveal when Trump talked to the FBI or what they talked about.
Trump's relationship with the financier-turned-child predator has been well-documented, with Trump himself admitting that he was friendly with Epstein throughout the late 1980s and 1990s.

That would explain a lot.
It’s certainly plausible.
Back before he was arrested first time the New York media was publishing laudatory features about Epstein, how he was traveling the world on his jet with Bill Clinton and Kevin Spacey, flying to Clinton Foundation events, which Epstein funded.
In these reports Trump was the only one who mentioned how young he liked his women.
So basically he was a type of witness.
If he knew what Epstein did (he certainly became aware something was wrong when he tossed Epstein from Mar-A-Lago), then told the FBI, then why didn’t the FBI do anything for so long?
Epstein died in 2019, so maybe nothing was done until Trump’s first term.
I read that he was over 6 years ago now and when I went looking for something saying that now, to counter these libs calling him a pedo I can’t find it.
When are the Epstein ‘experts’ in Congress going to start naming names on the House floor?
The entertainment value provided by these jokers could be huge.
If he did—Trump was a hero in my book. Epstein needed to be taken down hard.

This well is so poisoned, no one is going to believe anything that comes out of it. While I was interested in coming down on the abuse of underage children, that ship has sailed. Whoever is running this whole thing is protecting everyone—so everyone is suspect. And everyone is innocent. And we will NEVER get a definitive answer.
So tell them all to just stop.
Trump’s team ‘effed this up on purpose. And has pretended it never happened.
And now they act all offended when anyone asks.

I’m shocked that this has only today been revealed. This should completely exculpate President Trump!

President Trump also has said that the case is unimportant.
They were “sordid, but boring” crimes, and as for Epstein, “He’s dead for a long time.”
Cirrone seems to be unaware that this was already publicly known, it’s not something Johnson “revealed”.
I remember some of the victims being interviewed and thanking Trump.
I have been saying that for a long time. He has not been clear about what part of all this that he refers to as a hoax.
Johnson clarifies that with this statement. You’re right. There is a conspiracy afoot to ensnare him as a participant in abuse of the young women. THAT is what he is calling a hoax.
Trump is the reason Epstein got convicted the first time.
The Weekly World News and National Enquirer both let this slip past them back then?
