Not during the General Election.
As of early September 2025, online betting sites and prediction markets are showing the following probabilities for the top candidates:
Zohran Mamdani: He is considered the heavy favorite, with odds indicating a probability of winning in the range of 81% to 84%.
Andrew Cuomo: The former New York Governor is in second place, with odds giving him a probability of winning of around 20%.
Eric Adams: The incumbent mayor, who is running as an independent, is in third place, with a probability of winning of about 6%.
Curtis Sliwa: The Republican nominee is a distant fourth, with a probability of around 3%.
These odds reflect the outcomes of recent polls and the Democratic primary, where Mamdani defeated Cuomo. The betting markets are heavily favoring Mamdani to win the general election in November, given that New York City is a solidly Democratic city and he has secured the party’s nomination.

Everyone needs to drop out except Adams.
It doesn’t make a lot of sense, that I am dreading the notion of Mamdani becoming New York’s next Mayor.
I don’t live there, although I’ve always wanted to visit Broadway, see a few plays and museums. I have no relatives (of consequence) in that area of the country.
I suppose I believe once we have a (Hamas supporting) Muslim Mayor in one of our major urban cities, the Dems will want to repeat that same cultural earthquake again and again, maybe even coast to coast.
Interesting.... A black democrat liberal joining the Trump administration while the democrat party moves toward the marxist s and Islamists.... who will gain more?
Adams is a lowlife, dumbass scumbag, and isn’t qualified to manage n a 7-11, let alone run a city.
Why?! As the old saying goes...Never Interfere With an Enemy While He’s in the Process of Destroying Himself. Let NYC destroy itself.
Typical poor journalism. No knowledge of the events he's covering, combined with shoddy research.
Makes the accuracy of the rest of his reporting suspect.
Adams has already proven he can't govern, ex-cop or no.
Cuomo also failed when he governed the state.
Time to give the guy in the red beret a shot.
Let’s hope not.
Agree.
I wish he’d leave for Mars.
Adams — the incumbent mayor and the only black candidate in the race — has something like 15% support among BLACK voters. That shows you how awful this retard has been as mayor of NYC.
Cuomo is a pathetic human being, but Adams and Sliwa need to get out of the race and support him for obvious reasons.
I agree!
+Me too, Sliwa or Bust!
