“”””THE TAYLOR SWIFT TAX””””

What central media propaganda authority creates these terms that the media adopts?

The idea of general revenue should be abolished. If they are going to tax, you should know where the money is going and not a line of general revenue, where it can be spent on anything.

I think $800,000 is getting close to a median priced home in blue states.

Wouldn’t it be easier for Democrat states to just seize the houses of “rich people”? That’s what Lenin did, and it worked out just swell.

No taxes should be raised without a two third majority of the voters approving that!

I am for the NBA/Stephon Curry/LeBron James Tax. NBA Players will pay a 50% tax once a salary exceeds 25 million a year. Being outspoken Liberals surely they will WANT to pay their FAIR SHARE.

Why is your confiscatory tax on just the NBA?

Plenty of members of the far left play for MLB, NFL, and NHL teams.

Just a reminder, Kids:

Taxation is THEFT!

Inflation is THEFT!

Since 1913 by the government of The United States of America.

“The modern income tax system was established with the ratification of the 16th Amendment on February 3, 1913, allowing Congress to levy income taxes without apportionment among the states.”

There can be. Some states enacted rate increase limits, some have property reassessment limits, some have levy limits, some have one or more of these in place.

Article title is way misleading. Personally if she just paid the tax, I’d be all for it.

Taylor Swift has an impressive real estate portfolio.

She maintains official residence in Tennessee, where she votes, which has very tax friendly policies in addition to no state income tax.
