A former “Teacher of the Year” has pleaded guilty to having an “ongoing relationship” with one of her female students starting when the girl was just 15. Brandyn Martin Hargrove was convicted on Wednesday of 12 criminal counts connected to her sexual assault of the ex-student while she was a teacher at Brazoswood High School in Clute, Texas.
The formerly-decorated educator was sentenced to 10 years of probation and a 10-year probated sentence, meaning she won’t face any time in prison, despite grooming her student and having a sexual relationship with the minor, which continued until the girl turned 17, according to court records.
Her victim, who is now in her 30s, walked into the police station to report she had been sexually assaulted by her teacher nearly two decades earlier, Clute Chief of Police James Fitch told ABC 13.
“In 2006, you did not have the charge of improper relationship with a student that we have today, so that’s why you got the charges of sex assault and indecency of a child,” Chief Fitch said.
*** Hargrove was convicted of sexual assault and indecency of a child for her role — 10 second-degree felonies with punishments of two to 20 years in prison and two third-degree felonies with punishments of two to 10 years.

Indeed.
The kid should have waited for something - anything - better to come along. She’s a moo cow.

Crazy eyes.
My first thought as well
Hey- she didn’t get voted teacher of the year for nothing
Not if they were homo ...
That booking photo looks like she has been hitting the GLP ones pretty hard lately.

So, crazy LESBIAN eyes.
Societal collapse will not be long from now when such leniency abounds.
They knew she would drive up prison food costs.
Bank it.
I’m so glad we have trained “educators” to protect children from the depredations of their Neanderthal parents
Probation is a ridiculously light sentence for a crime such as this.
However, the crime occurred in 2006. That was a long time ago. Statutes of limitations were put in place for a good reason. I guess they don’t matter anymore.
(Notice I did not say “alleged crime”, as the woman was convicted.)
If there was one, there were probably others. But how do they go about proving these things that are alleged to have happened 15 years ago or even longer?

She may have been slimmer 17 years ago ...
“””The formerly-decorated educator was sentenced to 10 years of probation and a 10-year probated sentence”””
Part of the problem regarding this probation sentence is that we have too many criminals being convicted and not enough prisons to put them into.
I am hoping that as Trump removes the illegal alien criminals from the USA that it will free up prison space for our USA citizen criminals.
I believe that statistics are something like this. For every convicted person sent to prison, there are four convicted persons put on probation.
None of this should surprise us. The flesh is weak and we all need forgiveness.
I’m not condoning her actions, just saying we shouldn’t be surprised.
