Require teachers and staff to be trained-NRA Gun Safety Course is good- and permitted to carry concealed but not required. Put signs on the entrances that teachers and staff are trained and may be armed. School districts do it here in florida. People who want to shoot up schools choose differently when they face the prospects of getting shot first.
While waiting for government funding, here’s an idea. Put your own armed security in your schools. Or at least give qualified staff ready access to weapons.
I hate to have to say it, but Minnesota teachers just see it differently than Florida teachers. Parents too...
