They always come up with the most contrived "math" to "calculate" what causes "emissions" and what doesn't, and how much. They pretend that they can do physics from metaphysics.
I believe the “green” ideology is driven, primarily, by political ideology.
If a person loves central control authorities, and think government is the answer to nearly every problem, of course they love global warming scare tactics.
If a person loves freedom and think government power needs to be limited and controlled they see the many flaws in global warming scare tactics.
War is the answer. They are broke, won’t be able to pay the pensions, monetary limits on bank accounts and no recovery in the near future.
