As a newly arrived citizen of heaven, he will begin to follow Jesus and use the enormous power and wealth entrusted to him to be a peacemaker. He may not be able to end wars abroad, but he can certainly end the wars his own administration is waging against undocumented immigrants, the incarcerated, the LGBTQ community and all the poor and powerless.

I wonder if the good pastor attends the Hunky Jesus festival they have every Easter Sunday in nearby San Francisco

The lady "pastor" was doing pretty good until she got here. I suspect now the whole purpose for her article was to thump Trump.

How would this pastor know what is in the mind of Donald Trump? He is blinded and can’t recognize a troll when he gets one. I believe that Trump was showing us what is in his heart, that he is a God fearing man, as we should always be.

Why even read this rag? We know what it’s going to say in advance.

Only one person knows if trumps going to heaven. Doesn’t matter what anybody else thinks or guesses.

I invite the good pastor to visit the site of the World Trade Center and to reflect upon what occurs when non Christian foreigners attacked and slaughtered innocent Americans.

Trump worries about hot getting to heaven; democrats worry about Muslims not getting their 72 virgins when they die.

If only Lot would have loved and endorsed the Sodomites of the LGBT community raping the angels of God staying in his house instead of lecturing them on sin…

So he had to open the border and stop deportations in order to get into heaven?
I’m glad this “pastor” doesn’t decide who gets in.
What war is Trump waging against the LGBT community? He seems pretty supportive of them except for their desire to remove sex organs from young boys.

Great works won’t get you into heaven. If you’re a sincere Christian who believes in Salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of God who died on the Cross for our sins, that is what you need.

Odd. He said he wasn’t Christian as recently as last year.

“”He may not be able to end wars abroad, but he can certainly end the wars his own administration is waging against undocumented immigrants, the incarcerated, the LGBTQ community and all the poor and powerless.””

Referring to Trump’s enforcement of US immigration laws as a “war on undocumented immigrants” is a dead giveaway. Murphy sounds like a delusional leftie pretending to be a “reverend” and using religion to bash Trump. She is working at a mostly black church, which just further goes to show how leftist she no doubt is.

Also, is she a reverend, as posted on the church’s website... or is she a pastor, as referenced in the article? There is a difference which I was not aware of.

What an opportunity the pastor missed.

That's not how you get into heaven --- by your works on Earth. You don't EARN it.

I think the close call had a profound effect on Trump. And he’s surrounded by theists who truly believe that he was saved by God for a reason. He hears it over and over again and it’s not surprising that he’s taken that to clarify the purpose one always looks for in life. He’s a great man who has done, and will do, great things. It’s not surprising that he’s internalized a belief that he has a divine calling now as the explanation for what’s happened in his life. It will only make him more determined to do the right things, no matter the cost or the pain.

“I believe a day is coming when Trump will be made new by the beautiful power of God’s love. I pray that day comes quickly, for all our sakes.”

Lady “pastor”, I saw what you were pushing for.
Don’t include me in your definition of “our”

For anyone interested:

The gospel (good news) of eternal salvation:

The Bible is clear that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who died on the cross as our substitute.

He paid the penalty for our sins.

He took the punishment that we deserve.

God’s provision of eternal salvation is a free gift.

God, through Jesus Christ, did everything.

All you do is accept that free gift.

Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.

The Bible explains how we, undeserving sinners, can receive the free gift of eternal salvation from a just and holy God:

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever BELIEVES in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:18
He who BELIEVES in Him is not condemned: but he who does not BELIEVE is condemned already, because he has not BELIEVED in the name of the one and only Son of God.

John 6:28-29
Then they asked Him, “WHAT MUST WE DO TO DO THE WORKS GOD REQUIRES?”
Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to BELIEVE in the One He has sent.”

John 6:47
(Jesus Christ said) He who BELIEVES in Me has everlasting life.

John 11:25-26
(Jesus Christ said) I am the resurrection and the life. He who BELIEVES in Me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and BELIEVES in Me will never die. Do you BELIEVE this?

John 20:31
But these have been written that you may BELIEVE that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that BELIEVING you may have life in His name.

Acts 10:43
Every one who BELIEVES in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name.

Acts 16:30-31
… WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?
And they said, BELIEVE in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved

Romans 3:28
Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by FAITH without the deeds of the law

Romans 4:5
But to the one who does not work, but BELIEVES in Him who justifies the ungodly, his FAITH is reckoned as righteousness

Romans 5:1
Therefore being justified by FAITH, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ

Ephesians 1:13
In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation — having also BELIEVED, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise.

Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through FAITH; and that not of yourselves, it [salvation] is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast

_____________________________________________________

Christians may foolishly try to use the grace of God as an excuse for licentiousness and antinomianism, but they’re just shooting themselves in the foot, ruining their opportunity to receive future eternal rewards from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 6:1-2A
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not!

“I’m hearing I’m not doing well. I am really at the bottom of the totem pole”

Did Trump really say that? I guess we have our own bubble because I thought he actually doing pretty well.

Well, she’s a disobedient one. Women are not to be pastors. The Word is crystal clear.
