Dem darling showered with Miriam Adelson-linked money

Texas Democrat James Talarico has built a national profile railing against GOP billionaires in politics — but has quietly accepted funds from a PAC backed by one of the wealthiest donors in the Republican Party.

The single biggest donor to Talarico’s state House reelection bid last year was a group funded by casino mogul Miriam Adelson, according to state campaign finance data.

Adelson, the widow of the late Republican megadonor Sheldon Adelson, is one of President Donald Trump’s largest financial supporters and seen as a boogeyman by much of the left. Talarico is now considering a run for Senate, which would test whether such ties are a vulnerability at a time when liberal voters say they want Democrats to aggressively take on Trump.

Also of note is that school teacher Talarico somehow managed to attain a net worth of between 1 million and 3 million dollars.

Hopefully, Pres Trump can talk some sense into her, if this is true.

From the article:

The year prior to receiving the funds from the Texas Sands PAC, he voted in support of legislation aimed at legalizing casino gambling in Texas through a proposed constitutional amendment put to voters.

What has happened to Miriam???

Nothing to do with politics. She wants to open casinos in Texas so she handed cash to a Texas state representative who, despite his public phony holier-than-thou act took the money in exchange for supporting legalization of gambling in the Lone Star State.

She’s a serious Israel firster, like her husband was.

But wouldn’t be surprising if beyond that she’s to the left of his other RINO centrism.

Also from the story:

“Basically every single Republican state senator in Texas has taken their money. Every single one. A majority of the Republicans in the state House have taken their money,” he said on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” referring to GOP contributors Tim Dunn and Farris Wilks, who made their fortune in oil and fracking. “They increasingly run this whole government here in Texas.”

Hypocrisy, Thy Name is TALARICO.

Well, there is the fact that she is bankrolling nearly all of the opposition campaign against Thomas Massie Trump has asked for.

A really great grassroots effort to find an authentic Kentucky voice in that district, to be sure

And since she knew James Talarico (personal wealth in the MILLIONS despite being a school teacher) was easily bribable she paid him off to support casino gambling in Texas.

Richie Cunningham is back! Happy Days are back again.

Oh, and he is not a teacher ... even better, he is a preacher; and is so wise and perceptive that he schools God in theology.

My cuz worked for The Venetian.
She said that once Sheldon died the hotel has been run by MBAs putting $$$ ahead of Customer Service.
It would make sense if the MBAs are making these political funding decisions.

Ahhh.....they’ve been trying to get casinos (back) in TX for decades.

There used to be gambling on boats, by Galveston - similar to Louisiana - many, many moons ago.

Some big donors just want to “make” politicians to whom they expect to influence if the recipient gets elected. Soros is the biggest example of that.
