What European “allies”?
Maybe on paper, but only on paper.
Is it true that Trump is getting a complete copy of Hillary’s lost emails at the Putin Meeting? Sure would be a great gesture of cooperation that would go a long way with Trump.
That would be awesome!..lol
People keep looking for an ending but this looks like the beginning of a months-long process with Putin raising the ante by attacking throughout now that Ukraine’s army is on the ropes due to lack of experienced personnel.

Beat me to it!
Thanks, I think I read about that yesterday. Ukraine’s problem is lack of personnel rather than ditches and bunkers. It takes 12 months to properly train infantry, so Ukraine can’t come up with enough trained soldiers fast enough. The ones sent after 6 months or less die quickly. IIRC the new line is said to not be as good as the one just lost since it has been built in haste, unlike the original one just broken. Russia is probing everywhere, looking for the weak spots that aren’t heavily defended.
One thing that would look good for Ukraine would be if Russia overextended with it’s 11 kilometer run yesterday and pays a price from a possible counterattack.
