In a meeting with foreign journalists, the PM blasted the international media's malicious caricature of Israel as a cruel, warmongering Jewish state.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is not known for seeking out journalists, especially not the foreign press corps that has, for years, attacked him personally and politically while accusing Israel of the worst imaginable crimes. But on August 10, he broke form.
In flawless English and with his trademark communicative vigor, Netanyahu met face-to-face in Jerusalem with representatives of the very media outlets that have turned Gaza into a theater of blood libels and the IDF into their chief villain.
The reason? To take the fight directly to the “eighth front” of the war—the avalanche of disinformation that has become as dangerous as rockets or tunnels. Since Israel announced its expanded operations in Gaza, anti-Israel activists and complicit journalists have gleefully called it an “occupation,” reviving the same tired propaganda Hamas has relied on for decades.
Palestinian leaders openly admit this is their greatest weapon. Fatah’s Jibril Rajoub called Oct. 7, 2023, “the Palestinian Holocaust—our winning card.” Hamas leader Ghazi Hamad boasted, “The whole world is now against Israel, accused of genocide and ethnic cleansing.”

When I was young there were a lot of good regional newspapers, until AP automated the media reporting, and then it turned to Propaganda.
The Press changed, They became the Press-titutes, they do it for the money.
The Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR) adminstration initiated the Federal Communications Commission.
The FCC had a lot of control over the radio networks. FDR made sure they were packed with Progressives. “For the good of the country” became “for the good of the FDR administration”. With WWII came broad censorship powers.
After WWII, the radio networks became the Television Networks. They were dominated by Progressive philosophy.
The CIA was dominated by Progressives.
TV became the most dominant media by far, and Progressivism became the ideology of almost all the Media by 1965.
There was corruption when I was growing up too.
I got a large exposure to the Corruption of Landslide Lyndon Johnson. Family friend was an Assistant Attorney General during 6-7 administrations.
There was and is a lot more buried that far back. I am 77.
I always wondered about that body that was found buried in the Texas desert and was ruled a suicide...somebody involved in the Billie Sol Estes scandal, I think.
Agreed, and Prime Minister Bibi is a great public speaker. But even his oratory can’t overcome the massive Big Lie smear campaign being conducted by the Jews. Which is having its natural consequences in the rise of Jew-hatred by those (many, one might even say normal) people who just input the mass media garbage without really examining it or checking it out well.
It is very sad to see folks behaving like this. Goebbels was correct, and he pretty much proved it— alas, that if a lie is big enough and repeated often — fed or force-fed to the populace, many at least will fall for, swallow it wholesale.
Never forget...hamass is directly connected to Hitler through Yassar Arsfat. They supported Hitler’s efforts to commit genocide of the Jews. They still support it and they will lie to accomplish it.

It isn’t just the “press” that is propagandizing. I have seen several posters right here on this forum that are spreading the same lies. One even popped up and popped off on this very thread. Sad that so many can be so blind to the truth, and so filled with hatred that comes from the lies. It’s probably not money that motivates them to spread the cancer. It’s a wrong-headed leftist ideology.

The smart ones cloak their leftism by posting things that will be construed as “not leftist” in nature. But some of them are so rabid that they just can’t help themselves when it comes to displaying their hatred on certain issues. No impulse control at all. Those are the ones that are easy to spot and identify. All that’s needed is to point out their hatred, their duplicity and their hypocrisy.

With the Truth, all the pieces fit. With a Lie, it never does.
Maybe Bibi will consider becoming a real conservative. But I doubt it.
I doubt in Israel that would be possible. Bibi is probably as good as you’re going to get in that department.
It's not the same ideology of the lefties on college campuses. It's the belief that the Jews are "secretly behind Communism" and are trying to take over the world. It's heartbreaking to learn how the entire conservative movement/right wing was once so opposed to Jews and Israel, and hated them so much.
I would not describe Bibi as a conservative. Bibi was a soldier long ago. His brother was too.
Nor would I describe President Trump a Conservative.
Trump is not a politician, he is a businessman. He is accustomed to making decisions. Not BS song and dance like most POL’s.
Leadership skill set is hard to define. Getting good results is often the test.
