As for territorial integrity, when US interests are at stake the US is sure to do whatever is necessary to protect them. However, with NO interests at stake in Ukraine, nor the majority of Europe, we should take the day off.

I think that the Ukrainians themselves will have something to say about this. The Russian fanboys should not count their chickens before the eggs are hatched.
What’s REALLY going to make them a footnote of history is their anemic birth rate.
Babies don’t get created in the rectums of men (or women, for that matter), and when babies do miraculously get created (in the wombs of women), far too many get aborted.
They’ll be lucky if there that unless they come to the senses and save themselves.

However, the bolder and more spectacular it is, the greater force to seal the deal.

There is no deal unless Ukraine is onboard. If you have not figured it out yet, Ukraine is fighting for their existence and will fight even without the US. Anything else is just wishful thinking.
If the deal is "reasonable", they'll take the deal. More than anything, they want the war to end.
