The Temple Institute announced on Tuesday that the remaining red heifers that had been brought from Texas by Boneh Israel to perform the Biblically mandated purification ceremony are not suited for the ceremony.
“The three weeks of intensified focus and adoption of customs of mourning over the destruction of the two Holy Temples in Jerusalem have ended,” the announcement read. “But our recap of all the work the Temple Institute is involved with, the one aim of rebuilding the Holy Temple and renewing the Divine service is far from exhausted.”
The Temple Institute described its more than two decades of efforts to find a suitable red heifer. A red heifer is an entirely red female cow with no more than one non-red hair on its entire body. In the language of the Bible, red is not exclusively what we know today as red. It also includes brown and other similar shades of red. This excludes black. All of the hairs on its body must be the same color. The animal must also be two years and one month old. There can be no blemish, no holes in the ear, and it may never have carried a burden.
In September 2022, Boneh Israel, a cooperative effort of Jews and Christians together, found five suitable candidates in Texas and transported them to Israel.

Not gonna say it...
I expected that before they left Texas.
Cynicism says to me they wanted to avoid the bad publicity of a sacrifice.
They’ve been telling us about this for years. Who knows, maybe they will do it in secret or maybe they’ve already done it.
1 Samuel 15:22
And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams
Don’t they pull this stunt every few years?
“Here’s the red heifer”
“Oops, no it isn’t”
I've heard some say that the Jews (and by extension, Jesus) were at least as white as the Charlton Heston movies because all natural red heads look like they just got off the boat from Ireland and never been exposed to sunlight. But evidently, being red headed in the Bible might be brown haired. Also of note, the "red"-heads are the only ones that I can think of that the Bible mentions hair color (in other words, the "red" haired ones stand out). So the norm for Jews in the Bible is probably black or really dark brown hair -- which is how most of us think the Jews were. Suggesting that they had a darker-than-me skin color, perhaps more Mediterranean look, again how most of us think the Jews were instead of how some people over-interpreted red haired to mean white folks.
Trying to read that article was like playing a video game against all the pop ups. Here is the punch line for those who don’t want to play:
“The halachot concerning the eligibility of a potential red heifer are very strict, and unfortunately, all our efforts so far have been frustrated by the appearance of more than one non-red hair on all our potential candidates. Nevertheless, our efforts continue.”
A useless exercise. The sacrifices of the old Temple have come to an end, never to return. There is now only one sacrifice, that of Jesus Christ.
And, sadly, those devout Jews are and will remain lost, until they accept the sacrifice of Jesus and the grace He offers us. To receive and know Jesus as your savior is to live forever within the embrace of our LORD and God.
Bkmk
The requirements are so exacting as to suggest not just fidelity to ritual but a form of divine magic in which the severe and uncompromising God of the Old Testament must be satisfied in the smallest particulars.
Mercy rather than Sacrifice.
Absolutely.
The problem is they zent all 9ld red head cows who had at least one blue hair. But seriously, what other co.or hair did they have? Brown? Seems that would be accepted. Yellow red? That too. The only other colors are blond and black. Not likely a red haired person or Animals will have either of those I’d think?
” Biblically mandated purification ceremony”
Animal sacrifices are satanical.
This Red Heifer situation is something completely new to me.
I’ve never heard of any of this before. Not the who, what, when or why?
Well, now I have. It sounds related to the Old Testament.
There’s a better chance of getting All members of Congress to agree on ANYTHING THAT GETS PUT IN FRONT OF THEM IN 15 SECONDS OR LESS !!!
Your post serves to illustrate a basic point throughout the Old Testament that Man cannot achieve the required perfection that was fulfilled by God becoming Man in the New Testament.
Expensive theater.
