A federal judge abused his authority in pursuing contempt proceedings against Trump administration officials for removing alleged Venezuelan gang members from the United States in violation of a court order, a federal appeals court ruled Friday.
The three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit was split 2-1, with two Trump appointees in the majority and an Obama appointee dissenting.
The decision overturns Washington-based Chief Judge James Boasberg's finding of probable cause that officials could be held in criminal contempt.

Sounds like Boasberg needs to cool his heals in the gray bar motel for a while.
And THAT right there, is a huge indication of the problems in this nation. These people SHOULD be quaking in fear over the repercussions of their decisions. But just like the regular politicians, nothing ever comes back to them from their asinine decisions, votes or rulings.
Us peons and peasants will be jailed, but not out “elite”.
It mostly comes down to qualified immunity for judges and prosecutors and Democrat party affiliation.
If you’re a conservative, the only thing that can save you is money, lots of it.

How nice of them to vote and rule in favor of no repercussions for themselves like that. The system is truly rigged.
