How close is Stockton to maximum capacity? I don’t like having only one bulk material port, but one must ask.
My dad arranged the financing for Stockton.
Rough and ready island, Stockton. Is it still functioning? Lots of supplies for Vietnam went through there.
The area is now known as the West Complex of the Port of Stockton and serves as a major economic hub for the region, hosting warehouses, conveyors, railroads, and docks for the import and export of goods like grains, vegetables, and wind energy components.
The historic warehouses and buildings, including those designated as the Naval Supply Annex Stockton National Historic District, have been renovated and repurposed to balance economic development with the preservation of the island's historical character.
The Port continues to develop the site, with recent projects including the construction of a large warehouse facility for bulk building products and consumer goods, which also involves the remediation of contaminated soils from past Navy activities.

This is to force them to sell to Section 8 developers, who will then use government money to rebuild.
