This is the last thing the Jews need during war. Now’s a time for them to get closer to God.

I know rabbis aren't assigned to congregations as it might be priests in the Catholic Church or one of the more hierarchical Protestant denominations.
So to me the question is who will hire him for a rabbinical gig? He might be looking for something other than an Orthodox (?) pulpit. Perhaps an academic or administrative career at a Jewish institution?

Next year, in Greenwich Village.

From the school's site -- "YCT serves as the spiritual home for
an open and inclusive Orthodoxy" -- so, yeah, Democrats in New York. Some are costumed one way, and others another way, but "open and inclusive" begins their "scripture."
From The Forward article -- "The school enrolled just one student in the 2024-25 school year and three the year prior." A demographic "read" to this says "failing." Ditto with all the "open and inclusive" churches of various flavors, all of them queer.

That’s true. But they’re essentially accredited by the rabbinical schools. Hopefully Orthodox congregations will no longer view this school as qualified to accredit Orthodox rabbis.

...Rav Mordechai Gifter, zt”l, the Telzer Rosh Yeshiva, would often say that the word “Orthodox” is a Greek term that really has no meaning to us. He always felt more comfortable describing Torah-observant Jews as Torah Jews.
Nevertheless, the term “Orthodox” has come to connote Jews who are Torah-observant according to the accepted norms of the Shulchan Aruch and its interpretation by the great poskim, halachic decisors, throughout the generations.
Over the past years, there has been an emerging threat to Orthodox Judaism that has been gaining power and momentum. It is a “Yeshiva” that professes to be “Orthodox” but, in fact, deviates from normative Orthodox thought, halacha and practice as accepted by Rabbonim and Poskim from across the spectrum of Orthodoxy...
