“This should tame the EU war mongers…..but at the rate the EU is crumbling, these will probably not be needed.”
No kidding, and it’s scaring the crap out of the Neocons because it can produce the yield of a small nuclear explosion without being nuclear. Opens up a lot of options for responses to their aggression.
Because the Russians NEVER overstate their weapons capabilities, ever.
We better get our sh*t together. This is a gamechanger.
Haven’t they uaed them enough times to demonstrate that they have them?
Stop the insanity.
They launched one and two subsequent launches failed.
Having them, and even using them, isn't proof that they actually have the capability they claim to have. I absolutely am not an Air Defense Artillery guy, but a quick Google search has lots of ADA types chuckling under their breath at Putin's "missile is unstoppable" statements. Here's one, for example:
Putin Claims new Oreshnik missile is unstoppable, sparking doubts
Likely a response to Trump saying he re-positioned nuclear submarines.
“but a quick Google search has lots of ADA types chuckling under their breath at Putin’s “missile is unstoppable” statements. Here’s one, for example”
“...being developed by Northrop Grumman”
“...being explored as potential countermeasures”
Thanks for the link. So the article confirms that the missile is unstoppable now, but might be stoppable in the future. That problem with that is, even if these technologies can be made to work (far from a given), by the time they do work, countermeasures could easily make these technologies obsolete, and thus reset the clock.
Meanwhile, from Barrons: Russia’s military advance in Ukraine accelerated for a fourth straight month in July, its greatest since November, according to AFP’s analysis of data from the US-based Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
In one month, the Russian army took 713 square kilometres (275 square miles) of Ukrainian territory, while Kyiv reclaimed 79 square kilometres.
This has resulted in a net gain of 634 square kilometres for Russia compared with 588 square kilometres in June, 507 square kilometres in May, 379 square kilometres in April, and 240 square kilometres in March.
These figures include territories fully or partially controlled by Russia and those claimed by it.
Does Hillary get residual stock options if the missile does well

Right! Russia invades another country but it is those defending against them who are the war mongers, not the invaders. Where did you study logic?
.
Some things never change. Like the shyt quality of any Russian gear bigger than an artillery piece. Tanks, planes, submarines, etc.
No, article clearly states Putin's claim of "unstoppable" missile is likely false. Aegis or THAAD can intercept the missile.
The claim is likely false.
While hypersonic weapons present unique challenges to missile defense, experts and available evidence suggest that Putin’s claim is an exaggeration of the current technological According to Fabian Hoffmann, a doctoral research fellow at the Oslo Nuclear Project, the U.S. and Israel possess anti-missile systems capable of shooting down an Oreshnik.realities.
“Systems like SM-3 from Aegis or Aegis Ashore, as well as most likely Arrow 3 and THAAD, can absolutely deal with this type of threat,” Hoffmann told CNN on November 22.
The West measures “:success “ by territory, Vlad measures “ success” by enemy body bags. Ukraine is being demilitarized, for decades.

Post war analysis will reveal the shocking truth.
“No, article clearly states Putin’s claim of “unstoppable” missile is likely false. Aegis or THAAD can intercept the missile.”
The Neocons have made MANY CLAIMS regarding their Wonder Weapons, and given their track record, I wouldn’t recommend betting the house on them getting it right, for once.
