Trump may say so, but perhaps it was more like a misunderstanding - Putin wanted a cease-fire, but only if it didn’t put his troops in danger...Trump wanted a cease-fire and didn’t care either way. I have yet to see ANY public statements indicating Putin has ‘lied’ to Trump or anyone else (Putin’s statements have always been crystal clear as to what he wants). As to their phone calls, I wasn’t privy to those, so I won’t make any assumptions.
The ultra stupid Dems also gave MBS the same nasty treatments for years over the death of their hero journalist buffoon Khashoggi at a Saudi embassy. This poisoned US-Saudi relations, that Trump is busy correcting.
