Keir Starmer fears repeat of summer riots after violent clashes outside Epping asylum hotel

Sir Keir Starmer fears a repeat of last summer’s riots as he demands urgent action from ministers to repair “fraying” Britain.

The Prime Minister told his Cabinet it was vital Britain’s “social fabric” was healed amid a series of protests outside taxpayer-funded hotels housing asylum seekers.

He also said cultural integration in communities that have experienced high levels of migration must be improved.

Angela Rayner, the deputy prime minister, warned that immigration was having a “profound impact on society”.

She said the government must acknowledge “real concerns” from voters about the impact rapid demographic change is having on issues such as housing and public services, The Times reported.

During a Cabinet awayday last month, Downing Street’s executive director of policy and delivery Liz Lloyd said that social cohesion was “fraying at the edges”.

There are concerns of more unrest after demonstrations outside The Bell Hotel in Epping, Essex led to the largest outbreak of street violence in England since last summer’s riots.

Kemi Badenoch blamed Labour for the strains on social cohesion highlighted by Ms Rayner.

The Conservative leader said: "I'm surprised it's taken her this long to actually understand what is going on."

The good news... According to Sir Keir there are plenty of apartments and hotel rooms for all the illegal migrants. Sadly... There are no apartments or hotel rooms for the hundreds of thousands in the UK waiting for their ‘social’ housing.

Remember the olden days when people actually paid their own rent??? Nobody in the UK does anymore.

At least the British can console themselves in the fact that they are not uncouth cowboys like those crude, unenlightened Americans.

The Conservative leader said: "I'm surprised it's taken her this long to actually understand what is going on."

Until last year, the Conservative leadership had no idea what was going on. They were just as happy as Labour to call anyone who wanted to control immigration a racist who was beneath acknowledgement. Once they got their clocks cleaned in the last election, they now are desperately grabbing onto anything that will keep them relevant.

“A Roma girl went to a doctor and asked, my father stopped having sex with me, is there something wrong with him?”

When I lived in Europe the Roma were perpetrators of petty crime like pick pocketing and scamming tourists. Local thugs would usually chase them out of the city squares. God help you if you wanted a quiet lunch in a town square. Rapes were usually in their own camps. Regardless. The natives are right to protest against the violent immigrants invading their towns.

Sir Keir Starmer fears a repeat of last summer’s riots

If that's all Starmer fears then he's a lucky man.
The average Briton fears a repeat of the 7/7 bombings; a repeat of the Southport murders, the Manchester Arena bombing, the Lee Rigby murder, the Sir David Amess MP murder, the London Bridge terror attack and so on and so on and so on...
