I have to ask this question - Is there anyone under 30 years old regularly visiting this thread?

How about Free Republic in general?

I was recently asked why the total weekly number of posts are going down on this thread. Sometimes it will go up over 100, even 150, but that is rarer and rarer. I've noticed this on other threads, and see a very diminished amount of separate threads, as well as Freepathons taking much longer.

My opinion is that we are aging. What say you?

True, and older folks don't appreciate some of the name calling that goes on, or the spoiling for a fight vs a discussion.

Yes we are all getting old, I remember the days 1000 to 2000 responses to the Sunday shoes

This is a very specialized / focused thread, and generally the action is over by 10:30AM Eastern time every week. That's 9:30 Central, 7:30 Pacific. Often by the time I see something to write about, this group has stopped looking so posting something is like talking to yourself.

It's about a small number of panel shows that never had mass audiences to begin with. Adding Maria's show a few years ago was ground-breaking.

And it's on a website with a lower activity level all the time. When this thread was getting 1,000 responses, you could see many new threads every hour all day long. Now I can check the forum at 10PM daily and see maybe 10 new threads since the last time I looked at 6 PM. And the number of new things showing up overnight gets smaller every time I think about it.

So it's not just each regular here that is aging.
