The Trump White House has lost control of the messaging.
No one is scared to leave the reservation and speak out.
If Suzie Wiles was truly the Ice Queen she is purported to be, then the messaging would be consistent.
This is how it works.
When an administration figure or congressional leader makes a media appearance, the person would check in to the WH for the latest messaging on front burner issues.
And if they didn’t, they would be in peril of invoking the WH wrath.
As far as I can tell Johnson was on the same page as the WH particularly after the BBB was passed.
Chiefs of Staff in the past have become quite feared by those going off the reservation.
But this is the SECOND instance in 24 hours where someone has gone off the reservation.
I’m still trying to figure out if Lara Trump had contacted the WH before making this statement which sounds like she had spoken with Trump and was speaking for him.
