The 20-gallon pots I use are made from fabric...plastic pots get hot...not the best for plants.

What they (President Trump, et al.) REALLY should be doing is taxing Avocados out of EVERYONE’S budget/price range to stop the drug cartels that have taken over that industry in Mexico and southern California!

Tomatoes are basically weeds. They are the easiest thing to grow in just about any growing zone, when timed right for that zone. Full sun, adequate water. Stand back.

That said? If you LIKE your canned tomatoes...and Salsa, and Tomato Sauce and Tomato Paste and Pizza Sauce and Marinara...you might want to stock up on them ASAP.

And if you can’t grow your own - SHOP LOCAL. Farmer’s Markets are everywhere these days or look up a local CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Farm and sign up for a delivery box of goodies every week during your growing season.

(Change the data at the top of the page to find CSAs in your state.)
