Putin has just discovered the scale of his latest miscalculation
The Telegraph ^

Posted on 07/14/2025 1:28:01 PM PDT by USA-FRANCE

President Donald Trump has finally lost patience with Vladimir Putin. Having promised a “major” announcement on Russia, Trump has now confirmed that the US will dramatically increase weapons supplies to Europe for use in Ukraine and threatened 100 per cent secondary tariffs on Russia’s trade partners. Trump would only provide Russia with an off-ramp if Putin agreed to a ceasefire in Ukraine within 50 days.

“If explosions were the reason for cancelling the space shuttle program, then, we would have also canceled all rockets that were used to take men into space, because, there were many more explosions of them than with the shuttles.

Except America lost more astronauts on the Shuttle, by far more than on any other space craft, a massive 14 in total. Even after all the investigations and redesigns following the first explosion it still exploded again.
Now you may find being burned to death fun, but most people don't. Not to mention the Shuttle being super expensive to run.

This you?
“So, if 50 miles above the ground is the accepted boundary that defines ‘space flight’, the X-15 with Joe Walker, was the first ‘manned space flight’.”

Again: " These flights occurred after Sputnik 1 and other Soviet achievements, such as Yuri Gagarin’s orbital flight on April 12, 1961, aboard Vostok 1, making him the first human in space.

Joe Walker, a NASA research pilot, was the first civilian pilot to exceed 50 miles in altitude. He achieved this milestone on March 25, 1960, flying the X-15 rocket plane. His flight was a precursor to even higher altitude flights later that year

I don't know about you, but I believe that logically and realistically and historically, 1960 comes before 1961.

China successfully landed the Zhurong rover on Mars as part of its Tianwen-1 mission, managed by the China National Space Administration (CNSA). The rover touched down in Utopia Planitia on May 14, 2021, making China the second country after the United States to operate a rover on Mars.

Might as well have been called an "American" rover, because the technology used to land on Mars and the technology used in the rover, were copied from the U.S. It's a lot easier to do something when the technology was copied from the originator.

Columbus led the way to the new world, then the rest of the world followed. ;)

Wiki:

Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin[a][b] (9 March 1934 – 27 March 1968) was a Soviet pilot and cosmonaut who, aboard the first successful crewed spaceflight, became the first person to journey into outer space. Travelling on Vostok 1, Gagarin completed one orbit of Earth on 12 April 1961, with his flight taking 108 minutes. By achieving this major milestone for the Soviet Union amidst the Space Race, he became an international celebrity and was awarded many medals and titles, including his country's highest distinction: Hero of the Soviet Union.

Nope.
The Chinese developed it themselves and the Chinese were able to do it while Europe still hasn't.
But then Europe boasts and makes noise more than anyone else.
The Chinese don't make much noise. They just do it, while the jealous Europeans continue to whine and moan.
Chuckle.

So Europe does NOT have a rover on Mars. The original plan for Europe to get a rover on Mars was a joint effort with Russia whereby the Europeans were basically stealing Russian technology, which in turn was stolen from the U.S.

The Su-57 is a knock-off of ur fighter jet designs, but still lacking our modern internal and external tech. Maybe they will catch up, but by by then, we'll be at least 2 generations further on. The Su-57 is their 5th generation fighter, but in reality no better than 4th generation, while the U.S. has real 5th generation technology in their fighter jets and bombers, and getting ready to deploy 6th generation and researching/develoing for the 7th generation. Russians are using stone-age tech for their military and space.

You are now switching from rovers on Mars to Su-57’s?
Your desperation is showing, boy.
You wanna try again?

Nope.

Facts can't be denied.

The Chinese developed it themselves and the Chinese were able to do it while Europe still hasn't.

The Chines are better at stealing and copying our technology, while the Europeans had no reason to do so.

But then Europe boasts and makes noise more than anyone else.

They have no reason to brag and for stealing technology, whereas the Russians and Chinese do.

The Chinese don't make much noise. They just do it,

Yeah, no noise. They just quietly steal and copy our technology, but that's changing with Trump.

while the jealous Europeans continue to whine and moan. Chuckle.

There is no reason for the Europeans to be jealous about what Russia and China are doing. The Europeans get to share American technology, without having to steal and copy it.

For example: the F-35 fighter jet is a joint venture between several European countries and the U.S. And the technology within that jet,is true 5th generation tech, not the knock-offs from the Chinese and Russians.

Its the other way round. Europeans have been stealing from everybody for centuries, including stealing from China and America and Central/South America for a very long time.
Lately Europeans whine even more as China continues to crush Europe in advanced technology and space.

Still, Yuri Gagarin was not the first to fly to what's considered 'space' or above the atmosphere flight.

Notice how you are constantly on the defensive and trying to defend the Chinese and Russians, while trying to poo-pooh the American and European accomplishments.

If war were to break out between the U.S. and China or Russia, you would have to be arrested and imprisoned, because your allegiance is with those countries and not with Europe or the U.S.

Except he was.
Go to Harvard, MIT, Columbia and all the top universities in America: they all recognize Gagarin as the first human to go to space.
Facts are facts.

Europeans have been stealing from everybody for centuries, including stealing from China and America and Central/South America for a very long time.

America and the Europeans and others that are considered friend and allies, share their technology, to an extend. No need to steal, even if it happens at times.

Lately Europeans whine even more as China continues to crush Europe in advanced technology and space.

The Chines 'advanced technology' is what they stole and copied from the U.S. and even from the Europeans.

Europe has advanced technology which the Chinese and russians need and want to steal.

If the U.S. and Europe cut off relations and trade with China, China would be left behind while Europe and the U.s. continued with advancements in technology. China needs Europe and the U.S. in order to stay 'current' with technology. Not the other way around.

The Chinese culture and government , doesn't equip their people with incentives, and doesn't allow initiatives from their people. Chinese engineers can only do what the government dictates and allows. They do have some pretty good spies, however. I met some of them, who I had to train when I was in computer science.

“America and the Europeans and others that are considered friend and allies”

Such “friends” the Europeans have attacked, invaded America so many times since American independence in 1776, including the 1812 attack by the British including burning the White House.
Who needs “ friends” like that?

What advanced technology does Europe have for the Chinese to steal?
The Chinese are far ahead of Europe in space and in AI.

You don't really have a clue do you?
Who has the most advanced, fastest high speed traine on the planet?
China.
China totally dominates consumer electronics including smart phones, HDTV’s laptops, tablets etc etc.
And that's just for starters.

High speed trains. The most does not equal the best or the first. Japan was first with high-speed trains. But no matter who or where, high-speed rail if not really 'high-tech'.

China totally dominates consumer electronics including smart phones, HDTV’s laptops, tablets etc etc.

China does have the most people in the world, so logically, the largest number of consumers.

But, ALL OF THAT TECHNOLOGY you mentioned, came from the U.S. and Japan and S.Korea and Europe. China was chosen to manufacture those products because of the very low labor costs and low cost of operations (child labor, for example), otherwise, they'd be no batter off than Haiti or Somalia.

And that's just for starters.

Yeah, they started with stolen and copied technology, but if Trump has his way, that's all going to stop.

The only clueless one here is YOU, Mr Chinaman.

How 'advanced' was China over 40 years ago, and before the U.S. and others decided to make them the manufacturers of our electronics and other products?

What advanced technology does Europe have for the Chinese to steal?

The Europeans and Americans share a lot of their technology, which then makes Europe a prime target for Chinese theft of technology.

The Chinese are far ahead of Europe in space and in AI.

Insofar as what China has is stolen American and Japanese and S.Korean and European technology, your claim is a complete lie. AI is being used in a lot of countries and many of them have companies that are making a lot of advanced improvements and contributions with it, and the Chinese are simply waiting to copy that too. China can't catch up, except through theft and copying.
