We have obligations to support certain allies. And I don’t think we can look away from indiscriminate slaughter.

“”””or we can buy from China and Russia.””””

You want us to buy our weapon systems from Communist China and Russia?

“”””Back in the Soviet Union, they were manufacturing bombers and tanks. They can’t even do that today.””””

They had access to all the talent from their vast empire and slave states, today it is mostly just Russians.

The Russians made the nukes.

But all the other stuff? They built a lot of it elsewhere in the former USSR.

What do you think of Pres Trump monetizing American arms industry by having Europe pay

It appears we're giving weapons to Europe for a proxy war that has nothing to do with our national interests and depleting our own weapons stock below critical levels.

That Ukraine needs "defensive" weapons is absolutely irrelevant. The war there has absolutely nothing to do with our national security.

It's way past time Trump walked away from the war in Ukraine.

“”””The Russians made the nukes.””””

I was talking about their captive talent pool of 100s of millions who had to work for the Russians and could not leave.

So let’s ramp up production of important weapons. Do this at warp speed
——-
Not possible, even the Defense CEO’s said this….Stinger , AT4 production rates……3 years minimum…..senile Joe knew what he was doing with the Ukie give away….hamstringing us for at least three years.

Good luck, the “ numbers” paint a poor picture….1.5 billion to 23 million…a 10 year old can figure the odds.

From Presiden Trump’s Truth Social Post, I see a pattern emerging. You want a favor or something from the US, it will cost you. No more giving stuff away.

Sounds like our military manufacturing base is expanding, and we have lots of overseas customers.

“It’s way past time Trump walked away from the war in Ukraine.”

Its way past time that Putin walked away from his war on Ukraine or keeled over and died. All deaths there are on his head. Russian meat wave troops included. These duped Russian boys from the poorer regions (most are minorities) sign up for hefty bonuses of $10000. They sign up for nearly certain deaths in Putin’s meat wave attacks.

Trump is blameless. In fact he/Trump45 gave/sold Ukraine weapons that Obama refused to. Javelins etc.

Javelins, antiarmor missiles provided by the Trump administration. In 2014, Obama rejected a request by Ukraine for those weapons. Biden was Obama’s vice president.

Trump reversed Obama’s policy; in 2018, the Trump administration approved a plan to sell Ukraine Javelin missiles for $47 million.

“As you can see, it is clear that this form of lethal aid was both important and provided by the Trump administration and not the Obama-Biden one,” McCann said.

The cost of “cheap” imports is a loss of industrial power and weakened national security. THANK GOD FOR IMPORT TARIFFS!!!

Are you aware of some reporting (not sure if good sources) that our Pres is proposing or will propose that Europeans pay us money to build our weapons for them, the theory being lots of jobs, tremendous revenue, and lower unit costs for our own re-stocking.

so order whatever new equipment is needed and stop broadcasting weakness (it only encourages attacks, whether Moslem terrorists or anybody else including, potentially, communist China)

America hasn’t been able to afford to be “arsenal of the world” for 50 years.
America just kept borrowing money to pay for it.

Well they have the manufacturing capability and the rare earth minerals we have to have since we outsourced pretty much all serious manufacturing to them anyway. What Irony!
