US May Include Long-Range Missiles in Ukraine Aid Package — Axios

The United States is preparing a new military aid package for Ukraine that may include long-range missiles capable of reaching Moscow, Axios reported, citing sources familiar with the matter.

President Donald Trump is reportedly overhauling his administration’s approach to supporting Ukraine, with plans to authorize the delivery of offensive weapons for the first time since taking office. The new package is expected to be announced on Monday.

Trump told reporters the weapons, funded by European countries, would include “various units of very advanced military equipment,” such as Patriot air defense systems.

Two sources told Axios that the package might also include long-range missiles capable of striking deep into Russian territory, including the capital. However, they added that a final decision had not yet been made.

Axios notes that the shift in U.S. policy was influenced by a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin on July 3, during which Putin reportedly outlined plans for a new offensive aimed at capturing all occupied Ukrainian regions within 60 days.

“He wants to take everything,” Trump reportedly told French President Emmanuel Macron following the conversation, according to a source familiar with the exchange.

U.S. officials hope the inclusion of longer-range weapons could alter the course of the war and increase pressure on Moscow to consider a ceasefire.

This is not good but sounds like Trump is trying to bring Putin to his knees by bankrupting them.

Senators Lindsay Graham (R. South Carolina) and Richard Blumenthal (D. Connecticut) were on Face The Nation on Sunday.

They sounded like a preview of what to expect from Trump’s speech later today.

Plus, Trump has endorsed Lindsay Graham for reelection.

This is not what I voted for.

What has happened to Trump??

He finally realized that Putin has been lying to him all along (just like we've been warning).

“Is Lindsey Graham the president now?”

Good observation. I was going to say that yesterday. The Military Industrial Complex and CIA has performed a coup over Trump and got their former control of government back from him. And Graham is now proxy Commander in Chief. Looks like Big Pharma and Big Tech has done the same thing.

ATTENTION LIBERTARIAN CHEAPSKATES --- Europe is paying for us to better arm Ukraine. This means more jobs here in military industries.

“This means more jobs here in military industries.”

Because money is all that matters. Human lives have absolutely no value or priority over profits.

He finally realized that Putin has been lying to him all along (just like we've been warning).

Remember the big blowup in the Whitehouse when Zelensky visited. About 4 months ago. Zelensky warned Trump and all in the room. What a treacherous liar Putin is. This was when JD Dunce interjected to lecture Zelensky that he had not been thankful enough for US aid. Then Trump said that Zelensky had to take the offer now, or Russia will take more Ukraine territory.

Trump stared down the Ayatollahs and took out, buried their nuke development programs. Now Bad Vlad Putin has put himself onto Trump's shitlist and in Trumps sights.

“What has happened to Trump??”

FAFO. Trump offered Russia a peaceful way out. Trump flat out told both Putin and Zelensky that there needs to be a ceasefire and an end to this war. Both have refused. Trump is more upset with Putin, who clearly has the advantage in this war and Putin is dissing Trump and wasting his time.

So, Trump is doing what he absolutely doesn’t want to do, but Putin has asked for this. What we can assume now is Putin is going to make nuclear threats and Trump will once again say FAFO.

This is gamesmanship and when you choose to play, everything is on the table, including a package for Ukraine to strike Moscow. Russia struck Kyiv and opened that door.

I have always supported Ukraine against Russian tyranny and invasion. Same as Ronald Reagan did, by making the USSR and their Eastern Bloc of captive communist nations all breakup. Trump has come around to my point of view. Your neo-isolationist quacks are on the outs. At least for the time being.

The BBB. I imagine he made a trade off when the sausage had to be made. Lindsay Graham must have helped get the bill passed with a couple other RINOs as long as you screw over the base. RINOs always win.

I actually did not vote for this.

Seems like we were duped more than the globalists. lol

Very good point, to modify a phrase if Ukraine lays down its arms it would be destroyed, if pitin would lay down his arms and withdraw to his borders there would be peace.

Funny how the continued loss of lives, including Russians and the mercs they have brought in are the fault of Ukraine not surrendering and never any mention of the fact that pitin could stop the killing right now by ending his ego driven war and go home

You did not say tyranny and invasion. You said jobs... This indicates profits as a priority over human lives lost.

Do you think the Russians are the only ones dying in this war? Do you think that no innocent civilian lives are being lost? Do you think that no hardships are being created for innocent civilians because of this war? Do you think that selling them arms indirectly absolves us of aiding and abetting this perpetual war for profit?

What I see is death for profit is just absolutely fine in this proxy war...

Not sure most of the “neo-isolationist “ here are that. Many said little about bombing Iran. Their isolationism seems only to involve Ukraine.🤔
