I randomly caught footage of Tricia Nixon’s wedding at the White House and appreciated the in-house, understated, stately pageantry of that era. (Her sister Julie was also married in the public eye - in NYC - it was when her father was president-elect still, so not inaugurated yet. Both were gorgeous and elegant.
