Looks like china has their very own homegrown progs.
Might want to hang on to this one folks, it is a quote that can be used when OUR own homegrown progs attempt to “prove” their superior virtue, blah blah.
One may respond to one of our homegrown progs by simply saying “like the communist chinese?” while pulling up the article.
FYI, don’t take your eyes off of them when and after they are shown the article, they “trigger” and instantly revert to violence.

Just this week ai read because of all the rainfall, they opened up all 11 spillways on 3 gorges to prevent the water exceeding max design height of the dam. They havent ever had all 11 open at once. It caused major problems downstream plus they did it as an emergency action, at night. So many folks had no warning.
The reason for increased flooding in China is that the demand for more land for development and for arable land for food production led to increased and faster run off from rain. Add in a dam failure and the impact can be severe.
The Chinese make buildings, bridges, dams, railways and such that literally collapse routinely all over China killing and injuring thousands.
Corruption is the primary reason. Shoddy materials, no real workmanship, etc. It’s called ‘’tofu dreg’’ construction.
The whole place is a hot mess.
And thousands of them , all military age males, have disappeared into our country.
15,000 people drowned in a single night when the Yangtze flooded in 1931. Was that "climate change" too?
I’m surprised the dam has lasted this long. It’s gonna be hell getting a warranty replacement.
So climate change built the dam that busted?

Climate change has nothing to do with shoddy work and dams made on the cheap. Otherwise, dams would be collapsing around the world with much more frequency.
Maybe they need to stop building so many coal fired power plants......
