I hope they sue him big and they should win. It resembles the Mets logo so much, that you’d think he’d have gotten permission ahead of time.

They will go after him because if they don't "police their mark", anyone else could start using it.

"Trademark owners have a duty to police their mark. This applies to all types of marks – brand names, slogans, color, product shapes, or even a smell. My understanding from the article is that it isn’t Mamdani’s campaign peddling these caps and shirts.
It’s third party entrepreneurs selling their stuff for their profit…not Mamdani’s profit.
I don’t see how the campaign can be held liable,
