In the wake of concerns over flooding at properties adjacent to a solar farm off Spur 100, NextEra Energy Resources says it has submitted a remediation plan to the city and Kerrville Public Utility Board.
Residents who voiced their displeasure over the situation at a May 6 meeting of the Kerrville Planning and Zoning Commission said the flooding has been happening for three years.
Resident Jim Gallops, who lives in the 900 block of Spur 100, said the flooding brings boulders toward his property and a silt fence has been in view since March of last year.
“We used to see trees back there,” Gallops said. “Now we’re seeing a pile of rocks back there. None of you would want to go through what we’ve gone through for three years.”

So, now we’re (also) finding out that these idiotic solar companies are hiring the cloud seeding ... that, as you say, happened just TWO days before the historic and horrific Kerrville area flooding ... to prevent HAIL from hitting their solar panels???
Do I have that right?
No. The Solar company near Kerrville did Not do the could seeding. It was done in Pecos County and others which are 300 miles from Kerrville
Why would solar companies encourage cloud seeding? They prefer sunny, cloud-free days.
Don’t ask me ... ask the OP. See OPs first reply post.
Has something to do with hail.
Hail if I know. 🤷🏼♀️
I hear they have hail in Texas.
These solar farms are made by destroying the land purposely so nothing lives to disrupt it. That means they are a toxic wasteland and flood zone.
Hail, yes, we do! 🤣
I posted about the potential for flooding on land adjacent to solar farms years ago. Remove the grass, cover with shade creating panels and you will have increased runoff from rain.

Lucky for them clouds don’t move and water doesn’t flow downstream.
EC
“Clouding seeding is done to reduce hail.”
WOW! I was wondering about the cloud seeding and whether it was some kind of experiment, but this is mind-blowing.
Well, now the families of the victims will have people and companies to sue, rather than the very bar of trying to win money from the government.
Wonder what TG will have to say about these deaths being blamed on “Sustainable Energy”.
Solar farms (to feed the grid) are a bad idea anyway because the grid should be based on nothing but dependable sources (i.e. hydrocarbons, maybe also hydro power).

LOL You need to check a map. Pecos Loving Reed counties where seeding took place are 300 miles South of kerrville county and the guadalupe goes NO where near Pecos or Pecos river.
Everything's bigger in Texas. Even hailstones, apparently.
Texas whore GOPe sold out big time for the solar and wind subsidies. They pigged out and caused the Texas freeze out, and the blight of windmills everywhere.
But a few river flow sensors and a siren? That’s crazy talk. That’s a total moonshot.
But they sure put on a grand press conference! 20 grim men in cowboy hats standing behind the governor, two senators, a mayor, a couple of congressfools and county leaders all taking turns thanking each other and invoking the God and calling for prayer.
The only topic they get angry and won’t talk about is how a flash flood that advances at the speed of a golf cart killed over 120 people all along it’s path. That can ONLY come from warning system misfeasance and malfeasance.
“cover with shade creating panels and you will have increased runoff from rain.”
And those acres of those panels act like a giant roof, pouring that water onto that barren ground.
Do some research before making a post
The Guadalupe normally flows approx 20 cubic feet per second. During flood it was 120,000cfs. A bit more forceful than a golf cart. Geesshh
200 cfs not 20
