They could try to love the United States, stop trying to replace White people, and give up the Marxism. Then people might vote for them again.

“rethinking”?
To REthink, you first had to think. Democrats don’t do either.

If Mamdani wins, the exodus of productive people will leave NYC in droves. NYC will be hollowed out like Detroit. All that will be left are people who rely on "grants" or charity.

One thing the Democrats aren’t guilty of is overthinking.
Thier genius till always be to attract a following of kooks, queers, loafers, abortionists and other assorted wierdos and dirtbags.

“ unwavering preeminence of economic issues.”
Ok, Dems. Prepare for your upcoming Econ 101 lesson which will teach you a lot about what happens when the government owns the grocery stores and all “the means of production.” There are some instructive lessons from history if you are interested.
“Good and hard.”

He says progressive upstart-turned-party nominee Zohran Mamdani (D) was able to capture voters — including those who did not vote a few months ago in the presidential election — by talking about affordability and other tangible economic issues that appealed to them. Joe Biden created the affordability problem with peak 9% inflation that resulted in a cumulative 25% growth in prices. It's a laugh to think that Democrats can win them back without considering the Republican response to anything Democrats say while campaigning.

Democrats remind me of the person they always warned us about when we were kids.
Never accept candy from a stranger.
Next they ask you to pull your pants down, and then
they say, don’t tell anybody!
Here is some more candy for being good at the doctor’s.

There were 3-5 million phantom voters in 2020.
They could not be resurrected in 2024 due to patriotic vigilance.

instructive lessons from history.
You mean stuff written by dead white capitalist pigs like Friedman.

by talking about affordability and other tangible economic issues that appealed to them. I believe the people in New York are more susceptible to some peddler coming through town and promising free stuff for the masses by taxing the rich.
In places where there is not such a disparity in wealth, people realize that they have to earn their own keep.

Voters might indeed “want something different”, but most of America don’t want that much of a “different”: A communist and a potential — if not an actual — jihadist panderer!

So basically the dems are saying out loud that they have to find a new way to trick voters who want nothing to do with them
