A man who has a twisted, revisionist theory about the Holocaust and the history of Jewish suffering has a real chance to become the mayor of the largest populated Jewish city outside of Israel.
Let that sink in. A man who was asked to condemn "Globalize the Intifada," a violent, vicious series of uprisings against Jews across Israel, and refused to do so may become mayor of New York City.
"To me, ultimately, what I hear in so many is a desperate desire for equality and equal rights in standing up for Palestinian human rights," Zohran Mamdani said, notably with no regrets.
He never backed down, and instead of apologizing to the Jewish community, decided to take a moment to speak about Islamophobia. Yes, that is a very real issue, and one I have worked hard to combat myself throughout my own career. But this was a moment for Mamdani to show the Jewish world that he is empathetic and can admit when he made a mistake.

It seems there will always be a large portion of the Jewish population that sees Hitler coming, and does nothing.
The same with any group. Take Cuba for example. Or right hear in the U.S.
Apart from that, same thing for the Muslims who vote for him. They will take care of the Jews first, but leftists like Mamdani will get around to exterminating all Muslims eventually, if they are allowed.
By the way, Jews are only 12% of NYC, so the majority of people who voted for him were not Jewish. A lot of foolish people out there.
The article is about Jews...so was my comment. As to the 12%, it’s magnified due to their (very likely) higher turnout and their donations to Communists.
Probably. And also to the business world also. there are 1.3 million Jews in New York. There are uncountable businessmen, bankers and entrepreneurs.
It occurs to me if the chickens simply do not vote for Colonel Sanders, he would have no chance.

Always fun to single out the Jews, but there are a hell of a lot of not-Jews who should be equally concerned about this clown. I would judge him equally a menace to Catholics, Protestants, people who do not want street crime to explode, business owners of every stripe etc.
It seems his only constituency is straight out communists and foreigners. Most blacks did not vote for him either. Asians and white women were his power base.
I cannot see why a coalition to stop him could not easily form against him. Of course, that might mean just once, voting for a dreaded Republican.
There are two things that I think happen.
Anybody who votes for socialism has rejected God and chose self-salvation.
The other thing that happens is the rich use socialism to create a barrier to poorer people to obtaining wealth by draining through taxes to pay for social benefits. It is a con game by the rich to convince poor people that they are getting something for nothing, but are really drained of everything.
Mamdani is a stooge.
The people hiding behind them are the threat.
The Jews supported him in the primary, he’s a commie.
