Despite you ignoring my public and private offers to buy FR, I still try to donate. My CC keeps rejecting my donation attempts so I just give up. Perhaps it’s your merchant account, perhaps it’s my CC. Whatever the case I’m not interested in performing route cause analysis for your website financial transacts and am too lazy to send you a paper check (do I even have any?). One possible source of CC refusals, somewhere in the memory chain zeroes can change to letter O ... this happened to me, I don’t know if it was due to any part of the merchant’s software, FR input, or just inside my computer. But when I figured it out, the CC refusal I experienced (months ago after the merchant change) turned to acceptance.

In my case the zero was in my postal code (twice), and could be in an address or phone number or even the three digit card code (I only found an error in my postal code, the auto-prompt was giving me letter O for number zero, and so the credit card company was refusing to honor my request to pay.

Very sorry about that. Yeah or new merchant account seems to be very sensitive. seems to be too quick to reject the transaction and we often can’t figure out why.

One alternative is you can make credit card transactions through paypal even if you don’t have a PayPal account.

Another alternative is to use your bill pay function of your bank account. They will mail checks to us from your bank account.

Oh, and I have not had any serious thoughts about selling FR. I’ve been pretty much bedridden for the last three years and unable to use my hands but I can make post using voice access software. My son Chris does all the heavy work that requires any physical walking or any other activity that can’t do. and he and John Are going to continue free republic after I’m gone. Thanks again.

Oh Jim, I'm so happy to hear from you. I am sorry to hear of your tribulations. You are, and have been, in my prayers. I pray that the Lord will strengthen you and yours and that the Almighty God, the Magnificent purveyor of Justice and Mercy, will offer his benevolence and charity upon you and upon all patriots.

I have very good experience with online properties. I would not take any comfort in the demise of this website that yall have worked so hard to maintain since the days of Clinton.

Should yall consider future options please include me in such contemplations.

FR has been a home for conservatives like us for so long and I care not to see it die.
