MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The liberal-controlled Wisconsin Supreme Court on Wednesday refused to hear challenges brought by Democrats seeking to throw out the battleground state’s current congressional district boundaries before the 2026 midterms.

Holy crap, Mark Elias is denied. Makes me wonder what the Democrats are up to
Wow! This was the main concern of Republicans after the court elections last year. Totally unexpected.
Nice.
Look dems have gerrymandered as well. I believe the dems are refusing because any examples dems will use to say “unfair” alsp exist that republicans could also point to - and they dont want to get rid of those, theres no way they can make a ruling that dem gerrymandering is ok but republican gerrymandering isnt. So, not gonna touch it.
Excellent news.
That’s not the headline at the link.
That’s the second time in as many days they have gone against their own party.
Something smells funny, like lutefisk.
Yes- considering what went on last November and all the outside money that poured into Wisconsin to get the soros funded rat onto the state Supreme Court
This is just the set up for when they strike down the Act 10 legislation.
You really don’t have to unnecessarily be a dick to make a point.
LOL!!! Newer than you, Hoss.
“theres no way they can make a ruling that dem gerrymandering is ok but republican gerrymandering isnt.”
😆😵💫
What’s the Act 10 legislation?
The country would be a LOT better off if both parties governed that way: “what would I say if this was coming from my opponents? Would I be okay with it if the other party did this?”
Great News...
I am represented by a black, corrupt, low IQ democrat because some federal judge took it upon himself to make that decision. I live about 100 yards inside the idiots district.

This bill created responsible government for Wisconsin and also took the unions from controlling government.
The state wide public school teachers union had in their contract that the state had to buy the health care coverage from the teacher union owned health care provider and barred from shopping elsewhere. The rates were outrages when compared to similar offerings from other providers doing that kind of business.
Act 10 ended that and Wisconsin got health care coverage by shopping around and saved millions with no decrease in coverage for teachers and in some cases actually improving.
Many school districts saw a drop in property taxes due to the windfall savings.
BTW teachers did not pay a cent for their coverage before Act 10. The coverage was provide by the state at 100% no cost to teachers. This 100% no cost to teaches also held true for their pension plans. This was also addressed in Act 10.
After it was passed they had to pay a small percentage for health care coverage and pension plans. The state picked up the rest.
The union was furious at this and riotous protests took place in Madison. Made national news.
The teachers union along with others got the state to hold a recall election against Governor Walker. He won and retained his office.
Ran again in the general election and won but lost in the next election. We now have a dem governor and now a dem controlled supreme court.
With a democrat governor and dem controlled supreme court set to repeal Act 10 and go back to the bad old days of raising taxes and unrestricted spending. Wisconsin may be doomed to follow Illinois and California down the road to financial oblivion.
The only thing that is saving Wisconsin at the moment is the Republican controlled legislature. But with a dem controlled supreme court anything they do can be over turned.
