While ICE arrests and deportations have grabbed headlines, President Trump is also running a separate but complementary “mass deportation” program — one that encourages aliens here unlawfully to go home voluntarily.
And if reports are correct, that plan is more successful than anyone could have imagined.
Based on government data, my organization, the Center for Immigration Studies, has conservatively estimated there are about 15.4 million illegal aliens in the United States, a 50% increase over the four tumultuous years of the Biden administration.
That’s no surprise, given how Biden and his Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas ignored congressional detention mandates and ushered millions of illegal migrants into the United States.
Trump rode a wave of concerns about the costs those migrants are imposing on schools, hospitals, housing, and essential government services in cities and towns across the United States to a second term.
Now that he’s back in the Oval Office, it’s up to him, “border czar” Tom Homan, and DHS Secretary Kristi Noem to drive the unauthorized population down and restore credibility to our immigration system.

How effective has self-deportation been?
One way to track the program is by checking employment numbers. One financial wiz cited by the Wall Street Journal calculated a decline in the immigrant population of 773,000 in the first four months of Trump II.
The Washington Post claims “a million foreign-born workers have exited the workforce since March.” The Post frames this as “a sign of the weakening labor supply.” Yet the paper also notes, “Average hourly wages accelerated, rising by 0.4 percent over the month, to $36.24 in May, as earnings continue to beat inflation in a boost to workers’ spending power.”
In other words, with fewer illegal immigrants, businesses had to raise wages to attract workers.

39 million to go
Maybe we should put up ads for jobs with high wages down in Mexico. They leave and we lock the door.
I believe you are close, maybe not double, but a lot. Who knows? Could be more, could be less because we don’t know how many “got aways” There were, and are probably still getting in.
You can not put a price on voter integrity and census counts that will give rats more seats. I would support an increase incentive from $1000 to $5000. If we can get 10 million out of here the rats are doomed.
Yowsa as they say, and the more media coverage of harsh and disrupting forced deportations, then the more the message spreads to the 3rd world potential illegals that living here outside the law doesn’t pay off, so stay home.
Yes. And all absentee ballots postmarked from Mexico AFTER they leave shall be burned on the mall. Bring smores.
At a minimum! 😎
Good the more the merrier
And that's why there are riots in LA and protests nationwide. Even assassinations of Democrat lawmakers who buck the party line and stand in their way. It's the 'Rats' desperate last gasp. Rush Limbaugh used to say the liberals are most dangerous when they are out of power. I think we're seeing that in the limit now, and it'll get worse until the back of the 'Rat party is broken.

Bernie Sanders used to speak against open borders for that very reason.
Bolshevik Bernie has since abandoned that position. But at one time he really did put American workers before the illegals.
And less crime and demand for housing and food. Gee, New York Post what might be the economic effect of that?
ICE needs to come to my Walmart
Just imagine what it will do to small county budgets if just a few hundred illegal aliens leave their counties. School costs go down, as do incarceration costs, along with the invoices for medical treatment. Housing becomes more available and eventually cheaper, especially in the blue-collar worker areas of town.
The streets become safer due to fewer accidents, and auto insurance rates will at least stop increasing yearly if not actually decrease in some areas.
Wages will go up as employers have to hire American workers. However, they will save on worker’s comp insurance since their work-related accidents will probably decrease.
The old narrative of “but who will pick our crops” is really no longer relevant since machines are doing most of the picking these days. Those protesters you see at the anti-ICE riots are not those working on farms or packing plants anyway.
Americans are innovative and will find solutions. The pros of deportations greatly out-weigh the cons.
Let’s not forget how overwhelmed the health care system has become.
Every month with the same intensity every welfare payment not made. It’ll take a couple of years but it’ll hit a point where it becomes clear there is no future for you here if you’re illegal. Once business’s stop hiding them which is probably 8 to 12 months out. They can’t stay. Then is time to go after housing- you can’t rent to illegals and knowingly doing so is a felony
Has a dumbassed libtard district judge ordered them to return yet?
This farticle is horse hockey. The “media” is rejoicing that unemployment under Trump is up! There aren’t any extra jobs in America. Supposedly, JoJo Pedo imported 18 to 20 million. One million are gone. Most of us believe there were already 30 million freeloading illegals here before JoJo Pedo put in his order for Slave Laborers from Mehico. That would mean we’re talking 47 million Piñata thumpers living here now. That’s the only way to explain Joe Marlarky Bidenski’s 82 million votes in the imfamous 2020 stolen election.

We need to keep the House and Senate next year. The GOP is not perfect(not by a long shot), but without those majorities, the border will be wide open once more. And, to keep up the deportations, we definitely have to elect a GOP President in 2028. JD Vance is my choice at the moment. I can’t think of what would make me change my mind.
