A huge blaze has erupted at an oil refinery in a Russian town that was hit by Ukrainian drones earlier this year.
Footage shows a fire raging at the industrial site in Kstovo, around 500 miles from the front lines in eastern Ukraine.
A thick column of black smoke poured from the plant, reportedly the Lukoil oil refinery in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

Getting interesting my friends. You’s think out $800 billion defense budget is now obsolete and we should invest it all in drones.
Remember those stories of nukes in suitcases? Might be far fetched.
Here is the famous drone swarm attack...
Nothing you can do when such a swarm attacks... (sent from a truck)

Yeah Linda, let’s keep this war going, it’s getting really good now !
Wow, that is intense and like you say, nothing can be done.
Thanks for posting. Now I’ll have to see the movie.
I would say that it is only a matter of time before the United States homeland experiences drone attacks.
We need smaller modular refineries throughout the US.
Don't ask for my help. My entire drone fleet is on my neighbors rooftops.
Drones are very scary. The Ukes transported them, then set them off them trucks near Russian bases deep within the country.
What I do not like about this is the same can be done to us by terrorists. Imagine some of these illegals destroying the grid, water supplies, refineries not to mention destroying our heavy bombers sitting on the ground. CCP owned land near US bases could be setting this up right now.
It is still unclear what caused this particular fire.
The Russians attacked the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv yesterday so it isn’t Linda keeping the war going.
Putin started the war and it goes on because he wants it to and cannot find a face saving way to end it except by murdering as many people as he can.
I see what you meant. Lol
Never forget that most terrorist groups out there are either direct proxies of Russia, or the proxies of Russia’s ally, Iran [which supplies Russia with drones and missiles to use against Ukraine], and that the US-based antiwar umbrella group ANSWER is by their own admission groupies of Russia’s ally, North Korea [which supplied troops to use against Ukraine]... ...
They need to put up more “NO SMOKING” signs.
Saturday’s [June 7, 2025] blaze at the refinery followed a large Russian drone and missile attack which targeted the city of Kharkiv and killed at least three people and injured 21.
The [Russian] barrage [on the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv] included deadly aerial glide bombs that have become part of fierce Russian attacks in the three-year war.
According to Ukraine’s Air Force, Russia struck with 215 missiles and drones overnight, and Ukrainian air defences shot down and neutralised 87 drones and seven missiles.
Several other areas in Ukraine were also hit, including the regions of Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, and the city of Ternopil
don’t continue to be a bitch

“Ukraine’s stunning drone strikes on Russian airfields are intensifying calls from military leaders and lawmakers in both parties to address gaping vulnerabilities in U.S. air bases.
Kyiv this week launched more than 100 drones inside Russia using artificial intelligence, a daring move that eviscerated five military bases and damaged more than 40 aircraft. Footage of Russian bombers and fighters erupting in flames while parked on open tarmacs rippled across the internet — and Washington.
While it was a significant blow struck by a U.S. ally, the attacks also laid bare how easily and cheaply un-crewed systems can cripple sophisticated air forces. Officials’ concerns are particularly acute in the Pacific, where the U.S. is seeking to beef up its presence. Ukraine’s success underscored how swiftly an adversary can destroy airpower with drones.
“It has to make you much more aware of how vulnerable we as a nation are,” said Sen. John Boozman (R-Ark.), chair of the Appropriations subcommittee on Military Construction and Veterans Affairs, said in an interview. “The Ukrainians defeated the Russian navy without owning any ships, and now they’ve decimated their air force with virtually no air force of their own.” (Excerpt)

“While it was a significant blow struck by a U.S. ally...”
I didn’t know Ukraine was a US ally.
Aircraft, both military and civilian are vulnerable to drones. And that includes in the CONUS.
No, dumba$$, the deepState US/UK, CIA/MI6 started the war,
continued it when Putin wanted to end it in MarApr 22
