United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrested several illegal aliens who were allegedly employed by a construction subcontractor performing work on the University of Texas San Antonio (UTSA) main campus. The arrests took place during a warrant-based worksite raid carried out by ICE on Friday afternoon.

ICE issued a brief statement regarding the worksite enforcement action, saying, “On May 30, ICE San Antonio conducted an enforcement action on the northwest side of San Antonio. This operation resulted in the arrest of several individuals who were in the United States unlawfully. No further details are available at this time.”

ICE did not provide any information concerning the number of illegal aliens arrested. UTSA officials confirmed the law enforcement action in a statement issued shortly after the warrants were served.

Subs are the worst. Hate dealing with them for a number of reasons.

It seems that upping the quotas is working to some degree.

Now lets triple their staff and keep upping the quotas per employee as well.

They are inching above onesy-twosy now, but still avoiding the high-volume illegal workplaces and homes.

I’ve got a feeling a whole lot of illegals have those ITIN numbers that illegals can instead use, which look exactly like an SSN.

I wouldn’t trust a person with a strong accent who looked Mexican to actually be legal, to work on my home. If we had legitimate immigration, I would have no problem.

I don’t need an illegal coming into my home to fix something.

“allegedly employed by a construction subcontractor”

Was the construction subcontractor arrested?

I wonder when ICE will hit ASU, Tempe, Phoenix, Maryvale...

Oh god, they’d have to arrest all of Maryvale.

Be better if they just arrested Gallego.

His mamacita may have actually had a green card but so what...he’s guilty of aiding and abetting.

Ah, but the public sector loves them.

You know why?

Apparently there’s a carve out for small contractors that allows them to get out of using EVerify.

Wanna bet that’s what happened with that raid on FSU student housing on Talahassee that bagged around 100 illegals...

Every raid discourages others from trying. It’s now harder to get into the country and harder to stay without being caught.

Punish the employer. Bleed them dry of their $$$. Make an example of them.
Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
Put the fear of GOD into everyone who runs a business.

No mercy.
No pity.
No sympathy.
